Chapter 277: This Mage Can Create Planets?
For the first time, as one of the Five Divine Beings, Eternity felt somewhat useless in the universe. He had initially intended to have Wang Yang owe him a favor by helping him out. After all, to earn a favor, one must do something worthwhile.
However, since Wang Yang had accomplished everything himself, asking for a favor now would seem shameless.
"No need to be so polite; I didn't do much," Eternity said, a bit embarrassed.
He had come here expecting to do something significant, only to find that Wang Yang had handled everything. He certainly wouldn't claim a favor for doing nothing.
"Your modesty is unnecessary, Great Eternity. We will remember your help. If you ever need assistance, I won't hesitate to oblige," Wang Yang said, smiling.
Despite Eternity's modesty, Wang Yang acknowledged the help. After all, learning a new spell from Eternity was quite valuable to him, and without Eternity's assistance, he might not have been able to restore the solar system.
Seeing Wang Yang's appreciation, Eternity felt a bit more at ease and smiled in return.
After chatting for a while, Eternity asked, "Although your power has indeed reached a significant level, creating a planet requires precise control. It's not easy for most people. How did you manage to master it so quickly?"
"You don't have to answer if you don't want to," Eternity quickly added.
"I don't mind sharing," Wang Yang began. "For you, this might be a display of power, but for me, it's simply a variation of my magic. The Supreme Sorcerer can attest that I have a slight advantage in learning magic."
Eternity was puzzled. "Creating planets as a form of magic? I've never considered that."
Creating planets required mastery over energy and precise calculations, not just magic. Eternity, I had never seen anyone approach it this way.
Despite his long life as a god, Eternity, he had never encountered such an occurrence. Wang Yang's claim of having a slight advantage seemed like a gross understatement, given his exceptional talent.
However, Eternity quickly composed himself. "As a sorcerer, using magic makes sense. It's natural," he said, accepting the explanation.
Wang Yang nodded, understanding that Eternity, as a divine being, wouldn't quickly grasp the nuances of human magic.
"Now that everything's settled, why don't you join us at Kamar-Taj for a rest?" the Ancient One suggested.
Eternity agreed, and the three returned to Kamar-Taj. Wang Yang accompanied them, knowing that conversing with a being like Eternity could yield significant insights.
While Wang Yang's experiences were limited compared to those of the Ancient One and Eternity, his strength was his notable contribution. During their conversation, Wang Yang mostly listened, learning from the exchange.
During this time, Wang Yang's phone rang. He had only brought his phone when he left Kamar-Taj, but he hadn't expected a call now, especially given the lack of signal in space.
Glancing at the screen, he saw it was Nick Fury.
"Hello, Nick Fury, what's the matter?" Wang Yang answered.
"Finally! I've been trying to reach you. Do you know there's a major issue in the universe?" Nick Fury's urgent voice came through.
"A major issue? What kind of issue?" Wang Yang was momentarily concerned, wondering if there was a problem with the planets he had created.
"Our detection system shows the sun is gone, and a large number of planets have vanished!" Fury exclaimed.
"Oh, that. It was the aftermath of the battle to protect Earth. Don't worry; everything's under control," Wang Yang reassured him.
Fury, although relieved, was still tense. "What do we do without the sun? Without it, Earth will face a catastrophic freeze within months!"
"Relax. Everything will be back to normal soon," Wang Yang said, smiling.
"What do you mean, 'back to normal soon'?" Fury asked, puzzled.
A technician excitedly reported, "Sir, we've detected the sun! It's miraculously reappeared!"
"Really?" Fury was shocked. The sun's reappearance was crucial for Earth's survival.
"Is it true that the sun is back?" Wang Yang's voice came through the phone.
"Yes, but we still need the other planets to maintain the solar system's balance," Fury responded.
"Don't worry. You'll see them soon enough," Wang Yang assured before hanging up, leaving Fury to witness the unfolding miracle.
Fury, still processing the situation, watched as the planets reappeared on their monitors one by one. "It's a miracle!"
The technicians were ecstatic. Having feared Earth's imminent destruction, the sudden restoration of the solar system felt like divine intervention.
"What's going on?" Captain Marvel asked, bewildered.
Fury explained, "Wang Yang said not to worry and that everything would be restored. It seems he kept his word."
"So, Wang Yang can create planets now?" Captain Marvel was incredulous.
Fury, equally astonished, nodded. The sun and planets' disappearance and reappearance could only be attributed to Wang Yang's powers.
...
Wang Yang, unaware of Fury's thoughts, returned to the room where Eternity and the Ancient One were deep in conversation. Eternity, having decided to leave, rose to bid farewell.
"It's time for me to go," he said.
The Ancient One nodded, "Of course, divine beings like you have much to attend to."
"Thank you for the invaluable insights, Great Eternity," Wang Yang said gratefully.
Eternity's knowledge was a treasure trove of wisdom, especially for someone like Wang Yang, whose experiences were limited in comparison.
With a nod and a final exchange of pleasantries, Eternity departed, leaving Wang Yang and the Ancient One to reflect on the profound discussions they had just experienced.
