Marvel Infinity Talent

Chapter 276: Are You Mocking Me?

From Eternity's perspective, creating a planet requires obtaining all its data. Without it, the planet would be a dead star, unable to sustain life. Even for Eternity, creating a planet might seem easy, but it requires gathering countless gases and material energies to succeed.

When Eternity saw Wang Yang attempting to create a planet, he instinctively shook his head, thinking it was impossible. Perhaps Wang Yang could form a planet, but it wouldn't truly succeed.

He continued watching while the Ancient One observed Wang Yang with anticipation. As Wang Yang sensed and gathered the universe's information, he gained the chance to create a planet.

Opening his eyes, Wang Yang gazed into the void. "Gather!" he commanded. Instantly, countless gases and materials began to condense, forming in front of them. These materials, from unknown spaces, were essential elements for a star.

Following the data he had, Wang Yang gradually formed a sphere. However, this sphere wasn't giant and appeared dark, like a stone. The Ancient One was initially astonished that Wang Yang managed to form a planet but noticed it seemed lifeless compared to Eternity's vibrant creation.

Despite her surprise, she turned to Eternity for clarification. Eternity, however, was wide-eyed in astonishment. An expert in planet formation, he recognized Wang Yang's achievement. Though it appeared slow and imperfect, Wang Yang had indeed succeeded, forming a planet's embryo.

For Eternity, the key was activating the planet, enabling it to function correctly. But Wang Yang's rapid mastery seemed almost unreasonable. It had taken Eternity countless eons to perfect this skill. Seeing Wang Yang achieve it so quickly was unfathomable.

Wang Yang, noticing an issue with the planet's gravity, waved his hand. The dark planet ignited with flames, becoming a blazing star. This transformation to a functioning star, emitting intense cosmic radiation and solar winds, left the Ancient One in awe. She had underestimated Wang Yang's capabilities.

However, Wang Yang soon dispersed the star, causing it to vanish. The Ancient One, confused, asked, "Wang Yang, why did you destroy it?"

Eternity was equally puzzled. The star had seemed successful, but Wang Yang was dissatisfied. "I noticed an anomaly in the planet's gravity, which could trigger solar flares and storms, potentially endangering Earth," Wang Yang explained.

The Ancient One appreciated Wang Yang's responsibility, but Eternity was flabbergasted. He considered minor gravitational anomalies standard and easily adjustable. Yet, Wang Yang aimed for perfection, a mindset Eternity found both commendable and baffling.

Realizing the depth of Wang Yang's dedication, Eternity was both impressed and slightly unnerved. Wang Yang's rapid mastery and meticulous approach exceeded his expectations, revealing a talent surpassing even the most gifted deities.

Unaware of Eternity's internal struggle, Wang Yang focused entirely on creating a flawless star. His dedication paid off as he successfully formed a perfect sun without gravitational anomalies or excessive solar flares.

"How's this sun?" Wang Yang asked Eternity.

Eternity, suppressing his awe, admitted, "It's impressive. You should restore the other planets too."

Resigned, Eternity watched as Wang Yang effortlessly recreated the solar system, even refining minor celestial bodies. Feeling overshadowed, Eternity offered to help with one planet, hoping to reclaim some dignity.

Diligently, Eternity created a planet, aiming to showcase his skills. Satisfied with his creation, he awaited Wang Yang's acknowledgment. However, Wang Yang seemed indifferent, engrossed in adjusting the universe's rules.

"Is he fixing the disrupted rules?" Eternity wondered, astounded. While forming planets required data, altering cosmic laws was an extraordinary feat beyond most beings' capabilities.

Wang Yang meticulously erased residual energies to prevent Earth scientists from uncovering anomalies, ensuring a seamless restoration. Once satisfied, he approached Eternity.

"Thank you for your assistance, Great Eternity."

Eternity, feeling a mix of gratitude and irony, couldn't help but think that Wang Yang's sincere thanks carried a hint of mockery, given Wang Yang's remarkable self-sufficiency.
