Marvel: I Can Summon

Chapter 30: Chapter 30: High-Speed Movement and Chaos Magic

"Oh... no! Kyle, you can't do this to me, I just got hurt today, you can't let me get hurt again," Pietro "wailed."

"Besides, four months will be deducted," Kyle said lightly.

Pietro shut up instantly.

On the other hand, Wanda snickered at Pietro's misfortune.

"You two have had your abilities awakened for almost two years. Let's talk about what you know about them," Kyle said.

Kyle had always thought that Wanda and Pietro were still young, so he hadn't pushed them to train their abilities. However, today's events made him realize they couldn't be left on their own anymore—they were almost sixteen, no longer children.

"I can run fast," Pietro answered.

"I can move objects and distract others... oh! I can also use it to light up a room at night," Wanda added.

"..."

Hearing their answers, Kyle had black lines all over his head. He really wanted to knock some sense into these two kids.

Deep breaths. Inhale... Exhale...

He couldn't get mad; he couldn't risk breaking them, or else he'd be stuck with their medical bills.

"You two... what can I say? It's been two years, and that's all you've learned about your abilities? Pietro, do you really think your ability is just running fast?" Kyle asked, a bit irritated.

"Um... is there more to it?" Pietro asked blankly.

"Your ability is 'high-speed movement.' This doesn't just mean running fast. Haven't you ever considered that, in five seconds, you could accomplish what would take others thirty minutes? It's not just about speed," Kyle explained.

"It seems... there's more to it," Pietro said, realization dawning on him.

Kyle continued, "When your ability is activated, you enter a state of 'high-speed movement,' meaning your actions, thoughts... everything speeds up.

For you, it's like time has been stretched. For example, something that takes others a long time to learn, you can grasp instantly.

So, I really don't understand why your grades have been at the bottom of the class for two years."

Pietro's eyes widened in surprise.

For two years, he hadn't realized how powerful his abilities really were.

"And when your thought process speeds up, so does your movement. So, starting today, Pietro, you're going to complete 500 test papers daily to train your mental speed."

"F-f-five hundred papers?!" Pietro's face went pale.

"Yes, 500. Wanda will be responsible for supervising, and your accuracy rate can't drop below 80%," Kyle said.

"Don't worry, I'll supervise him for sure," Wanda quickly chimed in.

Initially, Wanda had been envious when Kyle talked about how amazing Pietro's ability was. But now, she only felt sorry for her brother—who had such a powerful ability—because he was in for a rough time.

When it came to Pietro, Wanda's consistent strategy was to sit back and let him suffer.

Besides, Pietro, you're finally at my mercy. Let's see how you address me now, thought Wanda.

Ignoring Pietro's gray expression, Kyle turned to Wanda, choosing his words carefully.

"Wanda, your ability is even more powerful than Pietro's..."

"It's okay, I don't mind if I'm weaker. I have you to protect me anyway," Wanda replied, indifferent.

"Listen to me."

Wanda smirked and shrugged.

Kyle continued, "Wanda, your ability is far more powerful than Pietro's. Much more powerful."

"Kyle, are you sure? My ability is stronger than Pietro's?" Wanda asked in surprise.

She had never thought of herself as powerful. It was just easier for her to move objects, and after hearing Kyle's explanation of Pietro's ability, she saw how amazing his powers were.

So, when Kyle said her ability was stronger than Pietro's, she was naturally shocked.

"Yes. Your ability doesn't just display one skill. It can be classified as 'Chaos Magic'—mind control, telekinesis, material manipulation, probability alteration, and even reality warping. All of this is within your reach," Kyle explained.

In the original storyline, Wanda's abilities didn't fully manifest until the final battle, when she fought Thanos. But from Kyle's perspective, Wanda's potential was vastly untapped.

In the vast Marvel multiverse, Scarlet Witch's powers ranked among the most terrifying.

In one universe, Wanda simply said, "There are no more mutants," and it wiped out all mutants from existence.

In another, Wanda declared, "There are no superhumans," erasing the abilities of all enhanced beings—be it Sorcerer Supreme's magic, the Fantastic Four's powers, mutants, Captain America's super-soldier serum, Hulk's gamma radiation abilities, or even the Inhumans on the moon.

Terrifying chaos.

With such potential across the multiverse, it made no sense that the Wanda in this world would be significantly weaker. The only reason she hadn't shown more was because her abilities hadn't been fully developed.

"Impossible... I can't do anything except telekinesis," Wanda said.

"That's only because you haven't developed your powers yet," Kyle replied.

"Will Wanda have to do test papers too? I can supervise her," Pietro offered excitedly, hoping to redirect some of his own suffering.

Wanda froze for a moment before glaring at Pietro with a "you're dead" expression.

Kyle thought about it.

How to develop Wanda's abilities was a real puzzle. After all, chaos magic was beyond his understanding.

And there probably weren't many in the entire universe who could teach her.

It gave him a headache.

But finding a teacher for Wanda had to be a priority. Her talents couldn't be left untapped.
