Chapter 41: (The separation.)
Chapter forty one:
I looked at Thor with pity, he was the closest thing to a friend except for Jean Grey at the moment.
"Where will you go?" Said Steve Rodgers as he looked at me.
"I'll stay with Jean and Pietro or travel around the world." I replied.
"We can't travel around the world Travis. And Jean shouldn't be alone." Said Steve Rodgers.
"Well, I'll stay and look after Jean." I replied before hugging Steve Rodgers goodbye.
The first year was terrible for us, I suffered a great loss that left me depressed, I had to deal with the lost of Vision, an Avenger who tried to put my sad life aside with him, who thought day by day about what he couldn't do for me.
In the second year we met up with Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, and their daughter, a small but very emotional wedding for the couple.
The third year, Jean Grey, Pietro and I opened a help center for children who had lost their parents due to the snap. The three of us got along famously and you could even say that Jean Grey and I were getting along famously.
"Only three years, three damn years." I said.
"Forget that, don't torture yourself." Replied Pietro Maximoff while looking at me.
"Vision was my friend, Pietro, the only good thing left of me." I said.
"Nathan is coming over today, you know that he was a orphan since he was born and he loves hanging out with you guys." Replied Jean Grey.
Jean Grey and I then stood up and headed to the living room in order to talk to Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.
The fourth year seemed a little hopeful, I helped Natasha take care of Nathan, and we knew about Agent Barton, although Jean Grey hoped to hear from him soon.
"Wherever he is, I'm sure that he misses you." I said while looking at the stars with Jean Grey.
"And you, you are my family to Travis." Replied Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.
I laughed at every bad joke Jean Grey told, we both started to get along more since everyone else left the Avengers headquarters, thus forgetting about Jean Grey, Pietro and I.
"And I screamed fish." Said Jean Grey while making dinner.
"What a bad joke." I replied before smiling.
"But you're laughing at those bad jokes." Said Jean Grey.
We then sat down for dinner and Jean Grey continued to tell bad jokes in order to cheer us up.
