"Yo, Minato! Perfect timing! We were just talking about training!"

At that moment, Kaito noticed Minato's arrival and immediately raised his hand in greeting, motioning for him to join them.

However, he quickly sensed that Minato seemed a bit downhearted.

He wasn't slow-witted and, with a glance at Kushina, whose face still held a rosy flush, he quickly pieced things together.

Out of curiosity, he checked Minato's favorability rating toward him and was surprised to find it hadn't dropped—it still stood at 84 points.

"Maybe I don't need to test him any further. I should bind him and Kushina to me together soon," Kaito thought.

He reflected that if it were him in Minato's position, seeing someone else take the person he liked, he wouldn't have been able to handle it without resentment.

Minato, however, quickly adjusted his emotions, forcing himself not to dwell on his disappointment.

Since Kushina had made her choice, he decided there was no point in clinging to the past.

Walking forward, Minato asked, "So, what's the plan?"

Kaito responded promptly, "First, I'll create a shadow clone to accompany you in finding a suitable secret training spot.

"My main body will go with Kushina to meet Lady Mito and explain our plan to use shadow clones to study sealing techniques with her.

"After that, Kushina and I will meet back up with you, and we'll draft a training schedule to officially begin our regimen!"

"Of course, before we leave, we'll each leave a shadow clone at the academy. Are you okay with that?"

"No problem!"

Minato nodded. "I practiced again last night and can maintain my shadow clones pretty well now."

"Great! Then let's find a quiet spot to leave our clones before heading out."

With that, Kaito led Minato and Kushina out of the classroom.

They found an empty corner, each creating a shadow clone to attend school on their behalf, before sneaking out of the academy.

On the way, Kaito made another shadow clone to accompany Minato in searching for a secret base.

Meanwhile, his main body and Kushina headed to the Senju clan's compound, where they met Uzumaki Mito and explained their intentions.

"Oh? You want to use shadow clones to study sealing techniques?"

Mito didn't reject the idea outright but asked, "You do realize that sealing techniques require precise chakra control during study and practice. Are you sure you're up to the task?"

"I am!"

Kaito nodded firmly. "In fact, I have a photographic memory. I've already memorized all the sealing techniques you shared with me days ago!"

"These past few days, I've also dedicated some time—or used shadow clones—to practice sealing techniques.

"At this point, I've mastered over ten beginner-level seals. If you don't believe me, I can demonstrate."

Without waiting for Mito's response, Kaito quickly formed hand seals and pressed his hand to the ground.

"From now on, you may send shadow clones to study sealing techniques with me."

She estimated that, given Kaito's talent, he could catch up to her level in sealing techniques within a few years even without her teaching. His talent in this area already surpassed hers.

Mito chuckled and relented, but not without conditions. "Alright, I'll agree, but only if you meet my expectations every day during your training in sealing techniques.

"If you slack off, I'll revoke your privilege to use shadow clones for practice. Understood?"

She was concerned that Kushina might get distracted and fail to properly master the techniques.

As a potential jinchūriki and a member of the Uzumaki clan, sealing techniques were crucial for her.

Of course, given the current situation, Kushina might not end up as the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki.

But proper training was still essential, not just to appease the Third Hokage but also for Kushina's safety.

Kaito knew Mito's advice was well-meaning and respectfully bowed. "I'll be careful!"

If not for his diet of sea king meat to replenish nutrients and vitality, plus the support of the Longevity cultivation technique, he wouldn't dare maintain so many shadow clones at once.

At the moment, he even had a shadow clone in the One Piece world studying medicine under Kureha.

Satisfied, Mito dismissed them and began teaching the shadow clones the fundamentals of sealing techniques.

Despite having self-studied the basics, Kaito took his shadow clone's training seriously.

Although shadow clones didn't directly benefit from his diligence-based talent, his innate learning aptitude was high, ensuring effective results.

When the shadow clones eventually dispelled, their accumulated experience and knowledge would return to his main body, triggering his talent for a second round of gains.

Though not as efficient as his main body learning firsthand, it was still a cheat-like advantage.

After leaving Mito's place, Kaito and Kushina headed toward the Naka River.

Although this area wasn't yet part of the Uchiha clan's territory, their shrine was located nearby.

As such, part of the region fell under Uchiha jurisdiction.

Kaito planned to scout this area for a suitable secret base for their training.

It didn't need to be overly secure—just secluded and quiet enough to avoid interruptions.
