Chapter 4: The Moment of truth

Akira had never been one for confrontation. If there was anything his life had taught him, it was that avoiding conflict usually worked out best. But that particular evening, as he walked home from school, things took an unexpected turn.

It started as any ordinary day—he was lost in thought, pondering the absurdity of his life and his ever-growing collection of random, inexplicable skills, when a group of men appeared ahead of him. Five of them, gruff-looking and with an air of menace.

Akira felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as they blocked his path.

"Well, well, look what we got here," one of the thugs sneered.

"Good timing I have been itching to vent my anger because of that slut" , another one said

"A little lost boy with no idea what's coming his way.",There laughter echoed in those alleyway

Akira took a step back, scanning their faces for any sign of recognition.

Mmmm,he felt like he had seen their faces before but he can't remember it but that won't help in this situation.

He had spent the past five years learning how to get out of awkward situations with no effort at all, thanks to his mysterious system.But this wasn't an awkward situation. It was an existential crisis.

"Hey, we don't want trouble, okay?" Akira tried to reason, his voice shaking slightly. "I'll just walk away, and you guys can, I don't know, find someone else to rob?"

The leader, a big guy with a scar running across his face, chuckled darkly, pulling out a gun. "You're not going anywhere. Hand over your wallet, and who knows we might just let you live."

Akira felt a rush of panic. What the hell do I do now?

He had been in danger before—he had accidentally tripped over a tree branch and ended up in a bizarre situation. But this? This was different. There were guns involved. People could die.

He glanced over his shoulder, thinking about running, but the thugs were blocking every possible escape route. There was nowhere to go.And from their looks and body language they clearly wants to kill him.

But why?

He thought back to his last life.

Then, with a mental sigh, Akira realized something that chilled him to the core. No. I'm not dying here. I was born with a diamond spoon, and there's no way I'm losing that.

There was no choice. He had to fight back.

Suddenly His body tensed, and his mind began to race.

Over the years, thanks to his system, he had gained a ridiculous number of skills. From perfect reflexes to acrobatic flips, from knife skills to basic hand-to-hand combat techniques—it was as if the universe was handing him the answer book to every fight he could possibly get into.

The thugs moved toward him seemingly his lack of reply and his indifferent face, one of them raised the gun.

In that moment, Kira knew. It was now or never.

Kira took a deep breath and, with no prior warning, launched himself forward. The first thug swung a punch at him, but he ducked, spinning effortlessly and landing behind him. In a smooth, almost practiced motion, he swept the thug's legs out from under him, sending him crashing to the ground.

One thug down he calculated in his mind. Now Four more to go.

Before the others could react, Akira flipped backward and dodged another punch, his body moving in ways that felt completely natural. His reflexes were so sharp, so precise, that it almost felt like he was teleporting from one side to the other.

And then, it happened.

The system, which had been unusually silent up until this point, suddenly chimed in with its familiar voice.

Kira almost tripped over his own feet at the sudden rush of abilities flooding into his mind,but there was a smile tugged at his lips

It felt like all the skills he had learned over the years from the system had merged into a perfect storm of deadly precision. His body seemed to move on its own, flowing seamlessly between the moves. He punched, dodged, and grappled with unnatural ease. Each move was fluid and natural, like he'd been training for years instead of having everything handed to him in a flash.

He dodged a bullet from one of the thugs who was getting ready to fire and delivered a swift, clean punch to his jaw. The thug crumpled to the ground in an instant.

The remaining three thugs stood frozen, staring at him.

Akira felt the adrenaline coursing through his veins, and a grin slowly formed on his face.

"This is ridiculous," Akira muttered under his breath but he had a wide manical grin on his face.

He was clearly loving this.

Before the thugs could react, he went on the offensive again, using a series of acrobatic flips to close the distance. One thug attempted to swing a bat at him, but Akira caught it mid-air and knocked it out of his hands with a precise strike.

With a few swift punches and kicks, Akira had taken down all five thugs. The last one collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain. Akira stood there for a moment, panting, but with an odd sense of calm washing over him. I just defeated five armed thugs. Alone. And it felt too easy.

He already forgot the fear he was feeling,but after the fight his cowardice returned

But the. Akira blinked, confused.

Negative Energy? What in the world was that?

He didn't even have time to process the absurdity of the system's "reward" before he noticed something strange. As he stood there, catching his breath, a strange sensation lingered in the air around him—like a thick, oppressive force.

The negative energy felt… wrong. Not bad exactly, but definitely strange. Like something dark and unsettling had taken root inside him.

Is this some sort of villain power?

Akira thought, his mind racing. Did I just become a villain in someone's story?

He glanced at the fallen thugs. Did the system want me to conquer the world or something? He wasn't sure if that was even a possibility, but the thought made him chuckle nervously. There was no way he'd become some dark overlord.

Still, the thought of that negative energy swirling inside him unsettled him. If this is some new superpower, I'm going to have to be careful with it.

He quickly dismissed the thought and pulled out his phone to call the police. Better to do the right thing and report these guys, he reasoned.

But before that he has settle his debts with these bastards.Even though he was a coward,but what could this defeated cowards could do

For a while the place that the fight took place was filled with Cries.

After a brief chat with the dispatcher and the criminals, Akira walked back home, leaving the scene behind him.

But as he walked, his mind was still reeling. What was that energy?

Was it really dangerous?

Or was it just the system's bizarre way of making things more complicated?

Akira sighed, shaking his head. Just another day in my absurd life.

He couldn't help but laugh. Because, honestly, what else was there to do?

"Fight with strange things with these power's"

"Hehehe...."

But what he don't know that the ,people whom he had thought to be sentenced in prison will be freed in a short time.

"Wait for me brat,I will show you what despair is.", the scarred man growled within the vehicle
