My magic stats finally reach above forty after a few hours of training. If someone sees me growing like this, they will either die because of jealousy or die from disbelief. I am more than double my reserve with only a few hours of training. It is not a big reserve, I know. However, I can increase the reserve by more than double the amount in only a few hours, which is something that is unheard of.

I shake my head and leave the training room. It is about time for dinner. Dinner is a time for family; even when the king is busy, he will make time for dinner. This is the reason why the Korven Kingdom never once had a fight between families. There were civil wars in the past, but they never because the royal family wanted more power at least from the direct family. They all come from the nobles who think they can overthrow my family from power. There was once a rebellion from a close family (royal-in-law) who thought they could overthrow my family without consequence.

Let's just say that their family no longer exists.

I look at the report in front of me and frown at it. A dungeon break is about to happen near the capital city. Like any other city in my kingdom, there is a dungeon we need to take care of. They will keep spawning monsters at a very fast pace, which is why my ancestors created the Adventure Guild.

Adventure Guild is the only guild that the kingdom backed and funded. They are the ones taking care of the majority of dungeons in the kingdom and the ones processing the goods from the said dungeons.

What do we get from the dungeon? While we cannot eat monster's meat, we can use the monsters' skin, teeth, and claws to create weapons and armor. The mana core inside the monster lets us fuel the magic items we use daily, like Magic Lamps, Magic Stove, and Magic Heater.

Don't get me wrong, the commoner cannot access most of it because they are expensive. At most, they are able to access the firestarter to light up their fireplace.

That is why being an adventurer is a profitable job. However, because of the number of monsters in the dungeon, the risk also goes through the roof. Adventurers are divided into six ranks: E – D – C – B – A – S.

Because of how dangerous the job is, rarely people are able to reach A-rank. S-rank is considered a National Treasure and something a king needs to protect at all costs. In this continent, there are only five S-ranks. That's how rare they are.

Other than closing the dungeon, they are also the ones monitoring the dungeon to see if they will cause a Dungeon Break. What is that? It is a phenomenon where the monsters in the dungeon get too much, and they break the dimension barrier to reach this world.

Leonis City, the capital, has two dungeons at the moment. The first one is a low to mid dungeon where the main monsters are goblins. The second one is on the same level, but this time, the main monsters are Dungeon Spiders.

Why does the guild not clear this dungeon by destroying the core if the two dungeons are low- to mid-level dungeons? Well, it is because they are stretched thin at the moment.

The other territories need more adventurers as dungeons pop out at once and my mother ordered the adventurers in the capital to spread out and leave the dungeon here to the army. That is why I need to take action when the dungeon is about to break.

That is a generous reward. The gold is not so much even though they are a lot even for me. What I want is the EXP and Rare-Grade Weapon. Weapons are divided into seven grades: Common – Uncommon – Rare – Unique – Legendary – Mythical – Divine.

My kingdom has something in the Legendary Grade in the vault, but I cannot take it out without a good reason. Even as a King, I have a rule I need to follow or at least respect because no one can stop a king if he wants to take his treasure out of the vault.

As for the EXP, I don't know how much it was, but it looks like a lot from here. My status does not show how much EXP I need to level up; it only shows my progress. However, I have a feeling fifteen thousand EXP will give me two or three levels.

I shake my head and say.

"Sebastian!"

I say loudly, and a second later, my personal butler enters my office.

"Your Highness?"

Sebastian is a man in his mid-fifties with blond hair and golden eyes. He has the build of a fighter because he is a fighter. The last line of defense if an intruder decides to attack the palace. He is not the best fighter but among the top one hundred in the kingdom.

My father has picked him as my personal butler since the day I was born. My father trained him to be the best butler/guard.

"Tell the King's Knights to prepare. A dungeon break will happen in three days, and I want them to be ready."

"Is it the dungeon near here, Your Highness?"

"Yes. The Goblin Dungeon is about to break, and I want to participate in the fight. That is why I need their help training my magic and physical skills. I need the captain to train me in an hour."

"Of course, Your Highness. I shall inform the captain to prepare the training ground."

"Perfect. Ah, another thing."

I raise my empty cup and say.

"Can you refill my tea for me? This time, I want the Red Sand Tea."

"Of course, Your Highness. If there is nothing else?"

I nod and watch him leave. While waiting for my tea, I open the spell sections.

Unlike the [Fireball] spell, this one only targets one enemy. However, it flies faster. That means I can hit my opponent before they can notice it. This is a perfect spell for a duel. Getting attacked by a barrage of fast spells will leave you without any chance to do a counterattack.

The next spell is a support spell.

The healing magic is tricky to practice. I can use it when I am not injured, but it is not as fast as when I am injured or when healing someone who is injured. Even with my perk [Light Mage], it still takes a long time, which is why it is only level twenty-four. Hell, the reason it reached level twenty-four is because I hurt myself and then healed it, but even then, it is still slow.

"Your Highness. Here is your tea."

I snap from my thoughts when I see Sebastian enter my office with another servant. Right. Let's think about that later, and for now, let's enjoy the tea. Sebas pours the tea in front of me, and I take the cup. I take a sip and release a sigh.

It is good to be a king.
