I’m a Girl, He’s a Psycho, and This is Fine

Chapter 11: Chapter 4.2: Severance and Independence

The next morning, she arrived at Yingnan High School, documents in hand.

The admissions office was located inside the administration building, a pristine white structure covered in ivy and lined with tall glass windows.

She walked in, handed her documents to the receptionist, and waited.

A moment later, a thin woman in a pencil skirt came out, glancing at the file. "You're Shi Mo?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"I'm Ms. Liu, the transfer coordinator. Come with me."

She led Shi Mu down a hallway, heels clicking on the polished floor. "Your documents are in order, and we do have an opening in Class 15. You'll be assigned to Dorm Room 304. I'll have someone take you there shortly."

Shi Mu's heart skipped a beat.

Class 15. Dorm 304.That was where Fu Yunshen lived.

As she followed Ms. Liu through the school grounds, Shi Mu observed everything carefully.

The campus was lush and green, with winding paths shaded by maple trees. Students strolled leisurely in groups, many wearing designer sneakers and earbuds. A few glanced her way with curiosity.

Ms. Liu led her into the dormitory building and handed her a key.

"Room 304. You'll be sharing it with another student. Settle in quickly—your classes start tomorrow."

"Thank you."

Shi Mu climbed the stairs to the third floor and walked down the corridor to the end. She unlocked the door and stepped inside.

The dorm was clean and minimalist. Two beds. Two desks. Two wardrobes.

One bed was neatly made. The other was empty—hers.

She dropped her bag, sat down, and exhaled.

She had made it.

The mission had begun.
