I Became a Malicious Streamer

Chapter 105

I’ve been quite busy lately.

First, the commentary. It’s my steady schedule and source of income. It’s the number one reason why I’ve gone from lazy to busy.

“Oh, XBD is going all out!”

“It seems like there’s a call saying it’s hopeless if they push any further. Meanwhile, it’s a 1v1 standoff between Max and Curry! The side that gains the upper hand here stands to gain a lot!”

“Max won!”

“…Huh?”

“The moment Molru predicted it, Max clinched the deal on Curry with a razor-thin margin! This is Max, and this is our potential on display, XBD!”

“How did you know, Molru!!!”

[What even is the future? ㄷㄷ]

[Oh, Molru clearly sees who’s going to win ㅋㅋㅋㅋ]

[All the movements are predictable~]

[If you were wrong here, it would have been legendary ㄲㅂ]

[Seriously, just one trade and they can predict who’ll win? This is challenge 15?!]

[Just Mol—-Hwang]

I’ve become quite proficient at commentary and can now occasionally interject between the banter of Bang Hyeongjae and Kang Seonghun.

Even without raising my energy, just tossing a couple of remarks gets good responses.

“Ah, this is a similar situation to the last game. Inverse is lurking to ambush Word!”

“What do you think, Molru?”

“Hmmm… I think Word will win.”

“Oh, the moment you said that, Inverse takes down Word smoothly! He hid and struck when his opponent left an opening.”

“Ahem.”

“That was quite humane. If he had gotten it right again, people would have been saying he’s a goddess or something.”

“Molru is human too, folks. What a shame.”

[This time he was wrong ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ]

[The cough sounds cute]

“He was so sure Max would win earlier, but now he’s all ‘I think he’ll win’!”

“Seonghun got him with that sudden question, caught Molru off guard!”

[For real, he stumbles over his words before answering just say you don’t know ㅋㅋㅋ]

[Molru’s accuracy isn’t 100%, noted…]

There was also a slightly embarrassing little incident.

I mean, why do they keep asking me which team will win or which player looks good?

It all started as a little banter with Bang Hyeongjae’s ad-libs but now it’s even written in the script: ‘Ask Molru about the victory dynamics.’

As great as I am, I can’t predict every team’s outcomes.

But I try to hit it off with them anyway.

Naturally, some viewers expressed dissatisfaction with the reduction in broadcast frequency, but there were also those who said watching the official broadcasts isn’t bad at all.

“Molru, do whatever you want!” was the phrase someone shook a sign with in the audience.

It’s quite a memorable phrase that still lingers.

On days without commentary, I either do broadcasts or go exercise.

It’s a choice I can easily make, but I mostly dedicate my time to training.

Initially, I wanted to juggle both, but my body wasn’t cooperating with my will. Some days, I’d finish working out, come home, and accidentally zonk out in front of the broadcast.

My already weak body couldn’t handle the increased outside activity, which left me drained.

I had no choice but to sign up for personal training.

However, with my face out there, I hesitated to go to crowded places. I finally found a small membership-only gym and registered.

The cost was significant, but I thought of it as an investment, so it didn’t feel too regrettable.

The instructor was a former Pilates trainer specializing in female care. Seeing her illustrious career, I couldn’t help but nod in approval.

She seemed reliable. Someone who trained hard enough would whip me into shape when I got lazy, or at least that’s the feeling I had.

But surprisingly, she already knew me.

“I’m a fan!”

“Excuse me?”

“I’m a MolTube subscriber.”

“Wait, what?”

“I’ve watched your live broadcasts a few times. Not every time, just when I have free time?”

I realized that the YouTube traffic that viewers used to complain about was now standing right in front of me.

The video of me eating was her cup of tea.

She laughed, saying it was impressive how I rambled with a soothing voice.

…That was a serious discussion, you know.

It seems YouTube viewers take my ramblings as pure entertainment.

“I’ll make sure to teach you well!”

“Um… Okay.”

That aside, I was quite flustered.

I felt sorry for my fans, but the instructor was unexpectedly composed, even beyond that.

I thought she’d be someone who quietly watched my broadcasts in a dark room while scratching her belly.

I never imagined a shiny Pilates instructor would be one of my viewers.

Good things are good; if she’s a fan, she’ll definitely teach me better, I thought positively, just a couple of days ago.

“Now exhale as you go down, huff.”

“Hu….”

“Breathe in again… breathe. Breathe!”

“E-exhale… Heh, heh.”

“You’ve improved a lot, shall we try one more?”

“Uh, okay?”

“Alright, one, two…”

She definitely was teaching me better.

It’s just that I was dying in the process.

The fact that she watched my broadcasts whenever she had time was no exaggeration; the instructor began a lecture about my lack of stamina, promising she’d turn me into a normal person if I just trusted her.

It was a bummer to indirectly have my abnormal stamina confirmed.

It wasn’t even a difficult exercise; it was just moving my body a bit and breathing, so why was it so tough?

It dawned on me that the phrase I often pushed on my teammates while gaming, ‘Just breathe,’ was quite a tall order.

I also got a call from Eun-ha, the owner of the shopping mall.

“Ji-eun, what have you done!”

“…Is something wrong?”

“Why is your business doing so well?”

She asked, exhausted, and the response was clearly ecstatic, as though she couldn’t contain her joy.

Turns out, since I revealed my face, it was exposed that I had modeled at Eun-ha’s shop as well.

People were on a pilgrimage, buying the clothes I wore and visiting the shop, causing quite a stir.

They expanded the shop and even hired staff, as it became overwhelming for her to handle alone.

Just like how the Cyber Investigation Unit exposes everything celebrities did in the past, I was going through a similar process.

Thinking about people visiting under the guise of pilgrimage felt a bit excessive.

Scary bunch, honestly.

“It’ll be spring soon, don’t you need spring clothes?”

“…That’d be nice.”

“Come to the shop next time. From now on, you’re free for life.”

Now, there’s no need for her to look out for me as before; she’s overflowing with ease.

I’ve decided not to refuse her offer, understanding that she likely wants to give something.

Not sure if I’ll find time, but I’ll drop by later.

Ryuah occasionally whines about how she misses me while actively streaming, and Ji-yeon has increased her study load lately.

She mentioned needing to work harder as the department of her target university demands quite a performance.

Her posture, clenching her fist while talking, made me feel proud and warm inside.

Is this what a big brother feels like?

With everyone around me thriving, it brings me immense joy too.

In such a cheerful mood, I turned on the broadcast after a long time.

“Hi there. How have you all been?”

Casual greetings sparked intense reactions.

[Molha]

[It’s been a while]

[How long has it been since a personal broadcast]

[I missed you]

[I cried because I missed you ㅠㅠ]

[Why now, why now, why now]

“You know, I’ve been busy lately. Now I’m a full-on cele-rrub!”

Truthfully, I didn’t feel that way at all, but just saying it to rile up the viewers.

I flipped my hair and struck a haughty pose like a celebrity.

[Definitely a celeb]

[It suits you]

[If this isn’t a celeb, then what is? ㅋㅋ]

[Acknowledge the entertainment activities, so what’s the next project?]

[Please flip your hair one more time, please]

[Goddess force ㄷㄷ]

[She’s pretty;]

These sycophants, huh.

This isn’t the reaction I wanted at all.

What I really wanted was someone scolding me to find my original intent again.

[The justmolsoup guy donated 100,000 won!]
“Hey, Mol, stop the nonsense and start the game.”

Yeah, this is it. This is the reaction I wanted.

Looks like I still had faithful subjects in my room.

Those who only say nice things are not welcome.

If I surrounded myself with those kind of people, I’d be left soft and incapable of anything, like a marshmallow.

But I’m not asking to be mistreated either.

Just… act accordingly and use your judgment.

“Shall I?”

I smiled and booted up the game I was going to play today.
