Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Zangya?
The grotesque alien beings stared at Raditz and his group, who had suddenly materialized before them. Energy weapons pointed in their direction as the strong stench of blood wafted from their bodies, making everyone feel as if they'd been plunged into a putrid sewer.
The ferocious beast-like aliens in the front row had sharp horns and protruding fangs that jutted from their bodies like swords. They towered over two meters tall, their rock-hard muscles rippling with intimidating power.
Corpses littered the ground, and the faces of these demonic fighters were clearly reflected in pools of blood.
Ugly, hideous, and revolting.
The Saiyans trapped in the encirclement showed no signs of panic. They looked around casually, observing the planet's environment as if the threat before them didn't exist.
"Are these the demons? They really do look evil," Zucara said, hiding behind her sister with some apprehension.
Pepara was much bolder, placing her hands on her hips and puffing out her chest. "Even if they've been enhanced, they're nothing special. Their ki doesn't even compare to ours."
"Haha, exactly!"
"I'll take them down and show you my new technique!"
"By the way, it's freezing here. The sun isn't even out."
"Idiot! Didn't our instructor tell us that lower-level demons fear sunlight and exert their strongest power in dark environments? They're obviously doing this on purpose."
"Pepara, you know quite a lot."
Several Saiyans began chatting casually, laughing without any sense of tension.
All the demons were stunned. Who were these people? Not only had they appeared out of nowhere, but they were actually laughing! They obviously didn't take them seriously at all. Time to teach them a lesson.
"ATTACK!"
The lead demon warrior shouted loudly, but unexpectedly, his voice was drowned out by an even louder command.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
Vegeta's voice!
He quickly extended one hand, positioning it in front of him with two fingers pointing skyward. An astonishing surge of power erupted suddenly. His majestic aura transformed into an energy storm that swept outward, blasting a scorched crater thousands of meters in diameter!
The landscape was instantly transformed beyond recognition. Those demon fighters were obliterated by Vegeta's power before they could even attack. As the thick smoke cleared, the Saiyans coughed a few times before witnessing the devastation, and they all gasped in amazement.
Just as expected from Vegeta—no unnecessary words, just pure action.
"Don't waste time with these weaklings. Let's go straight to the demon leader—I'll kill him with my own hands!" Vegeta snorted coldly.
The Saiyans, still shocked by what they'd witnessed, nodded vigorously. They'd learned their lesson and wouldn't waste time with small talk.
"The strong fighters aren't on this planet—I can't sense any powerful ki," Tarble said weakly after concentrating for a moment.
Vegeta glanced at his brother coldly. "If they're not on this planet, we'll go to the next target! Raditz, let's move!"
He turned and called to Raditz, ready to teleport.
But after waiting a moment, Raditz remained silent.
"Raditz?"
"Wait, there's more than one powerful ki signature in the West Galaxy, and one of them feels very strange... somehow familiar."
Raditz suddenly looked up at the sky, a hint of doubt crossing his features.
That familiar aura was mixed with evil energy, obviously affected by the Demon Star's influence. Could it be Piccolo? No, Piccolo's aura was much stronger—something he couldn't measure at present.
If not Piccolo, then who?!
"I need to confirm this myself," Raditz muttered.
Immediately, he activated Instant Transmission, bringing everyone to the location of the familiar ki signature.
The moment they landed, countless energy blasts came flying toward them. Scattered white beams soared like angry dragons, striking the ground and piercing the sky. Many innocent aliens ran wildly, screaming useless pleas like "help me" and "don't kill me."
The sky remained gloomy, with clouds blocking the sun like an iron curtain. Cold wind blew from the northwest, howling like ghostly wails. Even more chilling than the wind were the screams and cries of the natives.
They had arrived right in the middle of a demonic massacre.
"Saiyan Legion, move out!" Raditz waved his hand, signaling them to begin fighting.
The Saiyan fighters, finally able to engage in real combat, suddenly regained their enthusiasm. They shouted and charged forward, operating in teams of three to attack the demons.
"Boring!" Vegeta couldn't find an enemy worth his attention. His expression turned cold, and he simply ignored the chaos.
But when the short-sighted demon warriors saw Vegeta standing alone, they developed malicious intent and decided to eliminate him. It was the first time they'd encountered someone who dared resist, and since he wore the same uniform as the others, he must be one of the rebels! They couldn't let him escape.
They had simply miscalculated the difference in power.
The demon fighters swarmed toward Vegeta like bees, getting within five meters before he calmly raised one hand and launched an ordinary ki wave.
Though the attack appeared simple, its power was irresistible! "BOOM!" The explosion claimed countless demon lives, and even the supposedly fearless demon fighters began retreating.
Vegeta looked at the remaining scum with obvious displeasure.
The demon warriors recognized Vegeta's fury and immediately fled. Even demons knew when to be cautious!
However, Vegeta pursued them...
On the other side, Raditz approached the location of the strongest ki signature and saw its familiar owner.
"How could it be you? Zangya?" Raditz was stunned.
He could never mistake that face—it was the human woman he'd rescued on Planet Tumat. Her long orange hair and petite, charming figure were unmistakable features.
But now, Zangya's eyes held a dark blue, ice-like abyss. The terrifying demonic energy seemed to have infected her heart and caused her power to undergo earth-shaking changes!
In the past, Zangya had been just an ordinary girl, but now her aura was so powerful it surpassed Raditz's base form!
"Who are you?" Zangya no longer recognized Raditz and asked sharply.
"I'm Raditz. We met on Planet Tumat before," Raditz replied tentatively, trying to understand what had happened.
Suddenly, an aged voice spoke from nearby, hoarse and sinister: "It's useless, Mr. Raditz. She won't recognize you. I advise you not to meddle in our family's internal affairs."
That voice? Raditz suddenly remembered that Zangya had mentioned having a grandfather.
The speaker was indeed her grandfather. The short, orange-haired old man appeared beside Raditz as mysteriously as a venomous snake that had been lurking in the darkness, ready to strike.
