I Am Raditz

Vegeta shook his head and looked around wildly, sweat pouring down his face as his breathing grew labored.

The Kaio-ken x20 consumed tremendous energy, but the False Super Saiyan state was also an immense burden on the body! What's worse, Vegeta had been on the defensive the entire time, unable to mount any counterattack, and his body had suffered significant damage.

"What kind of technique is that?!" Vegeta demanded coldly.

One thought dominated his mind: So fast!

He couldn't even detect Raditz's energy flow—it was as if he simply shifted position instantaneously. Such speed went beyond mere rapid movement! Vegeta was furious. Whenever he made progress, Raditz always seemed to be one step ahead of him!

"Instant Transmission!"

In a flash, Raditz charged again, firing several energy waves ahead of him. The blue orbs of light spiraled outward, dancing around Vegeta. Having been caught off guard by Raditz multiple times, Vegeta ignored the energy waves completely. He focused intently on Raditz, his keen senses heightened, watching for the slightest movement.

The moment Raditz teleported, he would react.

But to his surprise, Raditz didn't use Instant Transmission this time. Instead, he approached directly, sweeping with a high kick aimed straight at Vegeta's head. Startled, Vegeta quickly lowered his body to avoid the attack. Even as he dodged, he kept his eyes fixed on Raditz.

He noticed Raditz smiling.

Smiling? What was he smiling about?

In the next instant, he understood.

Those energy orbs floating in the air suddenly converged on him. "WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!" They appeared from multiple angles simultaneously, then exploded with a thunderous roar.

The flickering golden aura surrounding Vegeta instantly vanished. He staggered backward, breathing heavily, with half his battle suit in tatters and his back scorched black.

"Hah—success!" Raditz deactivated his Kaio-ken. Sweat beaded on his face as well, but he appeared much more composed than Vegeta.

He had deliberately attacked Vegeta to capture his attention, then secretly guided the energy orbs with his mind, teleporting them directly to Vegeta's position!

This was a special technique he had developed—combining two abilities into what he called the Saiyan Instant Burst Mystery!

The Yardrat teleportation worked by connecting ki signatures to transfer matter, so the energy in his ki blasts should also be capable of teleporting if guided by his thoughts. Based on this concept, Raditz had experimented with combining the two techniques, and after extensive practice, he'd finally achieved results.

Today's battle against Vegeta had proven its effectiveness.

"The winner has been decided." Raditz descended to the ground, dusting himself off. He had deliberately held back from using his own False Super Saiyan transformation, keeping that ability hidden.

Vegeta gritted his teeth and clenched his fists in frustration. But even he had to acknowledge that he was indeed still a step behind Raditz.

"Hmph! Next time, I will definitely win!" He landed as well, giving Raditz a cold glare before spitting out a mouthful of blood and looking away.

The onlookers breathed a collective sigh of relief. It was finally over... If the fight had continued, they might have been casualties—the suffocating pressure alone could have killed them.

Tarble rushed happily to Vegeta with newfound confidence, calling out, "Brother!"

"Tarble."

"Brother, I've been training under Lord Raditz, and I've become much stronger!"

"Hmm, I can see that... not bad." Vegeta had intended to be dismissive, but after sensing Tarble's power level, he realized his brother had indeed made remarkable progress. He reluctantly offered the praise.

The brothers' reunion after their long separation wasn't the emotional scene one might have expected. They didn't exchange many words—Tarble simply reported his experiences while Vegeta occasionally responded with phrases like "is that so?" or "pretty good."

Still, it was clear that Tarble was genuinely excited, wearing a smile throughout their conversation.

Finally, Vegeta couldn't help asking, "Who is that following you?"

"Oh! I forgot to introduce her—this is my wife, Gure."

"Wife... wife?" Vegeta was stunned, his eyes widening. He hadn't been this surprised even when facing Frieza's final transformation.

"Hello, brother!" Gure greeted Vegeta with polite formality, leaving him momentarily speechless. His mind raced before he hastily returned her greeting.

Seeing Vegeta's slightly flushed cheeks, Raditz smiled secretly.

The other Saiyans approached slowly, regarding both Raditz and Vegeta with awe and admiration. The intense battle had completely won their respect.

Just as Raditz was about to seize the opportunity to address everyone, he heard a long-forgotten voice.

"Raditz! It's terrible! Something serious has happened!"

The voice was frantic, like a trembling bowstring, revealing deep fear in every word. Listening carefully, Raditz recognized it as King Kai.

For King Kai to sound so alarmed, something truly significant must have occurred.

"I hear you. What's the emergency?"

"It's a massive crisis! It's happening in the West Galaxy. That character, the West Kai, accidentally discovered something extraordinary."

"Something extraordinary?"

King Kai shouted, "It's the Demon Realm! A dimensional breach to the Demon Realm! Some strange being has descended from the Demon Realm into the West Galaxy, bringing demonic energy with him. Affected by this power, many demons have drastically increased their strength and are now terrorizing the universe!"

The Demon Realm? Isn't that the territory controlled by Dabura? Moreover, it was supposed to be a dimension separate from the living world—how could such a major disturbance suddenly occur?

Besides, didn't West Kai and North Kai frequently bicker and compete? Why would North Kai suddenly want to help? It made little sense.

"King Kai, aren't there any powerful fighters in the West Galaxy? Why do they need outside assistance?"

"The strongest fighters in the West Galaxy are either dead or villains themselves. There's no warrior capable of stopping these Demon Realm invaders. The being from the Demon Realm claims to be the new overlord of the West Galaxy, and his power level might be the highest in that region." King Kai spoke truthfully, revealing the full situation to Raditz. "Come to my planet, and I'll explain everything in detail."

"The strongest in the West Galaxy... alright."

Raditz sensed something unusual about the situation and agreed.

While muttering to himself, he suddenly exclaimed "Alright!" out loud, startling everyone around him. They all turned to stare. What was happening? Why the sudden outburst?

Vegeta, unlike the others, noticed something was wrong from Raditz's expression. He hurried over. "It's King Kai, isn't it? What's happened?"

"There are some rather annoying problems waiting for me to solve. I need to go." Raditz said only this, then pressed two fingers to his forehead and vanished with a soft "whoosh."

"Instant Transmission..." Vegeta pursed his lips. "Damn technique."

He stared at the spot where Raditz had disappeared, feeling a strange uneasiness settle in his heart.
