SWNOVELXO Chapter 4: DAY 4

Day 4
Today was a really good day if you ask me. I was getting ready for school and as I went to have my breakfast, the smell got me. It was my favourite dish. I had almost everything that was on the table and I went to school. At school things didn't start well.
The teacher asked me why I was late( Yes, I was late again)? I said I missed the bus. My teacher bought it and let me in. I was shocked when I saw Patricia next to my seat. She was sitting in Carly's place. I took my seat and asked why she was seated here? She said that Carly kinda had a crush on Billy, the kid who sat next to me, so she asked we could switch? I agreed. I knew this was one of Carly's tricks and saw her, she winked at me and turned back.
She asked me why I was late? I answered her by saying that it was cuz of the feast I had at my place. She asked me," Was it that good? One day I will also come to feast along with you and your family." I was so happy to hear that,I asked her what she had. She said," I had the usual bread and butter."
Then we started speaking about how our lives were, how we thought about the world right now, what were our interests, what we liked, what we hated, and we got so into the conversation that we didn't realise the teacher was taking class and we distracted him during class." You two! Get out! For the past 10 minutes I'm noticing you both. Always speaking. Meet me at the principal's office after class." He said furiously. We both went out and laughed, and we spoke softly when we were outside.
The teacher came out and said," If this happens again, then I'll take you to the principals room. We nodded our heads and as we passed, we laughed to ourselves again. I realised we had a lot in common. She was just like me, but was a girl.
I fell for her even harder after that. As soon as school got over, she came to me and asked me," Hey Andy! Can you give me your number?" I said,"Ya sure. Just give me a missed call." I was overjoyed in my heart,it was pounding. One could hear it pound if he came close to me. I was soo happy that on my way back, I hugged Carly and told her that I was grateful to have her as my best friend. She said," You are soo dumb. Dumbo I know you love her, so I helped you. Don't forget, if I have some work, you only have to do it." I said," You just say the word, it'll be done."
As we parted, I felt the same pain, but it was a little less than the last two days. I was shocked, cuz generally, it gets worse day by day, but today it was less painful than the past few days. I happily went home with a very big smile. My mom saw me and asked me," Who's the girl Andy? You forget I'm your mother." She smirks at me and says," Just be careful." I tell her," Don't worry ma. I'll take care." I go to my bed room and check my phone. It was Patricia. She asked me whether I was free this Sunday so we could go out and have a small hangout. I obviously said yes, why wouldn't I? Guys, tell me what was that one day which made you really happy. For me it was today. Today I will sleep with a smile for sure.
