"Baby I am fine as you can see." She said and kissed her forehead.

"Mmm!" Cheng Xiao nodded and took one last look at her.

"Mom I am still right here." Shen Mu said while pouting making all of them to end up laughing.

"Oh are you jealous now." Her mother turned to look at her.

"What if i am? " She said and folded her arms.

"Are you still a kid? Look at how you are behaving as if you're still two years old. How are you supposed to find a husband at these rate?"

"Xiao Xiao is also still single but I don't see you complaining." Shen Mu said and took a seat next to Cheng Xiao.

"Well Cheng Xiao has a boss who doesn't give her any day offs." Her mother replied.

"Mum we work in the same place, with the same boss." Shen Mu said and rolled her eyes which earned her a smack at the back of her head.

"This counts as child abuse." Shen Mu said while rubbing her head where her mother had hit her.

"Child abuse? Do you even qualify to call yourself as a child?" Her mother asked her, while getting ready to hit her again.

Shen Mu ducked before the second beating came and hid behind Cheng Xiao.

"I'll go settle the bill." Shen Mu said and walked out of the ward.

Shen Mu's mother turned to Cheng Xiao when she saw that Shen Mu was not in sight.

"Xiao Xiao you know you are a good girl." Shen Mu's mother said sweetly.

"Yes aunt, what can I help you with?" Cheng Xiao said with a smile.

"You are smart girl." Her godmother said and Cheng Xiao nodded.

"I saw you talking to the young doctor earlier on."

"Oh you mean Hu Yitian." 

"Is that his name."

"Yes!"

"Okay! So how do you know him?"

"Well he is best friends with my boss."

"Is he single?"

"As far as I know, yeah he is single. Why?"

"Help me set him up with Mu Mu." 

"Aunt you know that she will kill me if she finds out."

"I'll be there to save you, so don't stress about it. Do you have his number?" Her aunt asked enthusiastically.

"Y-yes!" Cheng Xiao replied.

"Perfect! All you have to do is give me his number, and I'll take care of the rest." Her aunt said and handed Cheng Xiao her phone.

Cheng Xiao added Hu Yitian's contact info to her aunt's phone and her godfather looked at the two women and shooked his head.

"I wonder who will save you both when she kills you." He said.

"That's why we have you." His wife replied and Shen Mu walked back in.

"OK kids go home now your father will stay behind. It's getting late and you both have work tomorrow so off you go." Shen Mu's mother chased the both of them out of her room. 

Shen Mu's mother let out a sigh of relief when she heard the door close.
