They reached the floor and Cheng Xiao pulled Shen Mu and they walked out. The Café they were going to was not far from the office.

"Back then my mother needed treatment that was why I never objected." Cheng Xiao said.

"By the way how is your mother now." Shen Mu asked.

"She is fine, she has been asking when you are coming by to see her?" Cheng Xiao responded.

Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao have been friends since they were seven years. They grew up in the same neighborhood, became friends to the point where their parents also became friends. Some would say that they were closer like sisters. They went to the same primary and same high school, even followed each other to the same university but studied different courses. While Cheng Xiao majored in design Shen majored in marketing they applied together and were both happy to work in the same company.

"Is she going to set me up as soon as she sees me?" Shen Mu asked.

"That is a high possibility because she has not even spared despite me telling her that I am busy with work." Cheng Xiao responded.

"So, any date this week?" Shen Mu asked.

"Yes, it seems she has arranged one to be tomorrow." Cheng Xiao responded 

"Daytime or nighttime?"

"This one is a coffee date. It was supposed to be lunch but Mr. Xu has a business lunch."

"And no doubt that you have to be there." Shen Mu said and shook her head.

"I still wonder why the CEO always take you wherever he wants go, be it a business abroad you accompany him. How many languages has he made you learn by now?" Shen Mu asked.

"Don't even remind me." Cheng Xiao said and let out a sigh.

"Come let's order." Shen Mu said when it was their turn to order.

They waited for a few minutes before they were called over to collect the coffee. When they arrived at the office the reception called Cheng Xiao over.

"Ms. Cheng!" Called the receptionist.

"Yes!"

"CEO Xu is calling for you."

"Okay I got it thanks." Cheng Xiao responded and walked to the elevator.

"Isn't he impatient, I still can't believe that you have a room in his house. You must have seen how hot he is."

"It's not like that I only sleep there when we are working late and mostly normally finish work around 3 am which no cabs are working that time so he said I should just pick a room and decorate it to how I want."

"Does he seriously not have any girlfriend?" Shen Mu asked a pressed a number to her floor.

"Have you seen him anywhere around females." Cheng Xiao said and looked at Shen Mu.

"They used to say that he was gay that's why he always fired his female secretary." Shen Mu responded.
