HIS SECRETARY: BILLIONAIRE SPOILING WIFE

Cheng Xiao looked at the resignation letter in her hands, the time had come where she couldn't fool herself anymore. Being Xu Kai's secretary had been a lot for, and she was happy to let it go today.

How many times had she held on to the hope that the designing department would make a place for. Every time a position opened, she made sure to be the first person to apply, and it seemed to never work out.

"Xiao Xiao, don't you want to think it over once again?" Shen Mu asked upon seeing the letter in her hand.

"Mu Mu; you know that I have tried my level best, but seven years is too much to keep on hoping that I'll be transferred to the design team." Cheng Xiao responded remembering her seven years wasted.

"But you haven't heard from them." Shen Mu said trying to change the mind of her friend even though she knew that her mind was made up this time.

"I applied for the design and got hired as Xu Kai's secretary, they had said that my designs were good, and it would take a few days until they found him a secretary, but did they even bother to look."

"Shen Mu being his secretary I had sacrificed my sleep in order to keep up with him." She said.

"Exactly you have worked hard to get where you are, are you really going to throw all that away?" Shen Mu asked her pulling her down to sit on the chair.

"I have to quit someday, so I might as well do it now. What if I get married, do you think I'll always follow him everywhere he goes?" Cheng Xiao said.

"Are you going to the office now?" Shen Mu asked and Cheng Xiao nodded and they decided to go together.

Cheng Xiao and Shen Mu used Shen Mu's car since she was not going to be the for long. She had planned to go straight to HR and hand in her resignation and pack her stuff and be on her way.

Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao walked into the office and Chen Xiao walked straight to the HR. Shen Mu went to her turned in the direction to her office and wondered what was to follow.

Cheng Xiao knocked on the door and got permission to enter.

"Ms. Cheng what brings you here?" Liu Fuyi asked when he saw her.

"I wanted to hand in my resignation letter." She said handing him her letter.

"I'm sorry, your what?" He asked puzzled.

"I'm quitting." She said straight forward.

"May I know the reason." He asked still hadn't taken the resignation letter from her.

"It's personal." Cheng Xiao didn't feel like she owed anyone explanation as to why she wanted to leave.

"Ms. Cheng we both know that I can't process your letter." Liu Fuyi said feeling scared to even take the letter. 

It was no secret that amongst all Xu Kai's secretaries, Cheng Xiao was the one person that sticked for long. Everyone had seen how hard she worked, and she was the only one that could handle him.
