Samantha went inside. She tapped on the menu displayed on the monitor right after she entered and got her order ticket. After that, she walked to the counter to wait for her food and pay. Soon after, an employee handed Samantha her meal. But when Samantha looked at the employee, she was shocked, and the employee was equally surprised to see her.

"Hey, aren't you the one who... threw the safe?" Samantha asked.

"You're... the safe's victim?" the female employee asked.

"How are you doing?" Samantha asked, smiling.

"Blech!" Samantha spat out her soda after reading the next task. She immediately put her glass down.

"Hey... what does 'become a hostage' mean?" Samantha thought inside her head.

But before Hades could answer, "Bang!" several masked men carrying bags and money burst in. One man immediately grabbed Samantha from behind, forcing her to stand. "Screams!" People inside the restaurant started shouting. "Rat-a-tat!" A man fired his machine gun at the ceiling, shattering the tiles.

"Everyone shut up, nobody move!" yelled the man holding Samantha.

"Oh, so this is what 'become a hostage' means," Samantha mumbled, muffled by the hold.

[Exactly, Sir. Please survive for 30 minutes.]

"Grrrrr... you bastard," Samantha replied.

After that, Samantha was rounded up with the other customers and all the restaurant employees behind the counter. "Whoop... whoop," several police cars and a SWAT team pulled up in front of the restaurant. It turned out the five masked men inside were bank robbers who had entered the restaurant to take everyone inside hostage. Through the window, Samantha could see the police and SWAT team taking positions, surrounding the restaurant.

Suddenly, the man who had initially grabbed her pulled Samantha again and held her hostage once more. He also threatened Samantha with a machine gun pointed at her head. Then he deliberately stood in front of the window, showing the police and SWAT team outside that he was serious.

"So this is what 'hostage' means, and I have to survive for 30 minutes... this is seriously messed up," Samantha mumbled in her head.

"Don't move! Drop your weapons and put your hands up, now!" a SWAT team member shouted.

"Clatter... clatter," the men dropped their rifles and raised their hands. The SWAT team immediately tackled them and cuffed them on the floor. A SWAT team member approached Samantha to apprehend the man she was holding hostage, then he looked at Samantha and nodded, smiling, though Samantha couldn't see his mouth because he was wearing a mask. The hostages, including Samantha, were then led out of the restaurant. Once outside, Carmen immediately hugged Samantha.

"You're truly crazy, Samantha," Carmen said.

"Hehe, but it worked, didn't it?" Samantha replied.

"Crash!" Suddenly, a car crashed through the police barricade, and "Rat-a-tat!" a man wearing mask got out, firing at the police. Samantha immediately turned to shield Carmen. "Rat-a-tat!" "Ugh," Samantha's back was shot, and blood came out of her back and mouth.

"Samantha... Samantha!" Carmen cried, hugging Samantha's body as she collapsed on top of her, still trying to wake Samantha up and not aware that Samantha already died.
