As Scathach walked out of the room and along the corridor for a short while, she seemed to sense something and looked up towards the distant castle.
A golden-haired woman in a black dress appeared in Scathach's sight.
"You really dare to show yourself," she said.
"Why wouldn't I dare? I'm the goddess who let you meet your disciple, isn't your attitude a bit too poor? Besides, in that child's eyes, I'm a gentle big sister," Morgan le Fay smiled, and the next second, appeared behind Scathach.
Her golden hair gently swayed in the night wind, and her slender fingers lightly wrapped around Scathach's waist. Her body pressed against Scathach's back, and she leaned close to Scathach's ear, whispering with a sweet scent: "It's because you're always so serious that he's afraid of you, Mom."
As she said the last part, Morgan le Fay gently exhaled a warm breath into Scathach's ear.
"Oh right, you should know what that mark is, shouldn't you?"
She kissed Scathach's fair, swan-like proud neck, slowly saying, "Just like this, kissing in the same spot, and continuing to kiss until my mark is left on his neck."
"The Mark of the Goddess of Death…"
Whoosh!
The next second, a red spear pierced towards the woman behind her, but Morgan le Fay disappeared almost instantly. Several crows scattered and flew out, emitting chilling cries.
"Always resorting to violence at the slightest disagreement, that's not the right way to train a disciple, you know," Morgan and Scathach put a little distance between them, Morgan maintaining a calm smile, lightly patting her clothes as if tidying the dust from the fight.
"Better than a woman who secretly schemes for other people's disciples," Scathach smiled. "As a goddess, you must have lived for a long time, right? If so, why not find a lover appropriate for your age?"
"Heheheh…" Morgan le Fay suddenly let out a mocking laugh.
The next second, she suddenly transformed into Asher's likeness.
Scathach's smile froze slightly as she watched "Asher" walk towards her.
"Asher" grabbed Scathach's hand. "Shishou, do you like me?"
Without giving Scathach a chance to speak, he continued: "Liking your own daughter's fiancé, and mocking others… that's not a good thing, you know."
"You've always been thinking about your disciple, haven't you? Am I wrong?"
As Morgan le Fay finished speaking, a chilling aura suddenly spread around Scathach. Ice shards flew from all directions towards Morgan.
Dodge! Dodge!
Morgan le Fay calmly evaded the dozens of incoming ice shards as if taking a stroll. She looked up at Scathach, her smile greatly subdued, and spoke.
"Die."
When this word appeared, it was as if even the dream itself twisted. Scathach's heart quickened for a moment, but the next second, she seemed unfazed and raised her hand.
Blazing fire blasted towards Morgan le Fay, as if even the night itself was ignited.
"I see, you're immortal because of a curse? No wonder you're immune to even Word of Power," Morgan le Fay vanished in the firelight, but the next moment immediately appeared beside Scathach.
She had already created an illusion during her attack. Because of her speed, it wasn't even noticed.
"Then try this," she raised her hand, chanting something, a hint of coldness in her eyes.
Although she had started with a playful attitude, Scathach's attack and words earlier had angered her. While she had promised that child not to mess around… this wasn't messing around now, but a very serious battle.
Boom!
A violent explosion roared.
Asher, who was chatting with Uathach in the room, couldn't help but be startled.
"What happened?" Uathach also looked confused.
This was clearly a dream, so there shouldn't be any fighting. But now, there was clearly a battle outside; she could feel terrifying magic filling the surroundings.
Asher had a bad premonition and suddenly stood up. "Let's go out and see."
After saying that, he quickly left the room.
In mid-air, bright light illuminated the night. The roaring sound tore through the sky. Morgan le Fay seemed to be controlled in mid-air by some of Scathach's magic. Scathach pulled out her red spear and threw it towards Morgan le Fay.
"Gae Bolg Alternative!"
The red spear pierced Morgan le Fay with a terrifying aura, yet in the next second, Morgan le Fay vanished into thin air.
Another illusion. This woman seems to have endless illusions, creating one after another to confuse others' sight.
"Die," Morgan spoke again.
This time, even the ground trembled. The aura of death instantly filled the entire domain, and the air around them became thin in an instant.
But this still had no effect on Scathach. She leaped high, caught her red spear, and extreme ice covered a large part of the area. The surroundings suddenly transformed into an arctic world.
Scathach was about to raise her spear, but then suddenly heard a voice from not far away.
"Mom!"
"Sister, calm down!" Asher shouted after her.
Scathach's movements paused slightly, but she still didn't stop her attack. Morgan le Fay also didn't stop; a milky white light enveloped her fingertips.
However, at that moment, a blinding golden sword appeared between the two of them.
Their attacks abruptly stopped, and then Asher's voice came again: "Both of you stop fighting!"
His voice sounded incredibly commanding, making Uathach's eyes turn into stars.
Both of their gazes fell on Asher simultaneously.
"Although you are my disciple, it's always improper to speak to your Shishou in such a tone. You'd best remember that," Scathach said, looking at Asher who stood in front of her.
"You've truly grown up. You never dared to speak to Sister like that before," Morgan le Fay said with a smile.
"Um… Shishou, Sister, what I mean is, there's absolutely no need for you two to fight. Can't we all just get along and talk things out?"
One moment he was full of anger, the next Asher turned into a dead fish, speaking somewhat timidly.
"Sister Morgan, we're still busy clearing out the outsiders. Isn't it better not to cause trouble?" He then looked at Morgan le Fay and said in a negotiating tone.
"Mom, let's not cause any trouble for Ash right now. Let him focus on finishing his own matters," Despite her strong disdain for Asher's instant submission, Uathach still pulled Scathach's hand to persuade her, for the sake of the bigger picture.
Scathach quietly put away her spear. Morgan le Fay, under Asher's gaze, also had no choice but to give up the idea of continuing the battle.
If they, as adults, didn't listen to the children who were smaller than them trying to break up a fight, they would simply appear unreasonable.
Seeing that Scathach was finally pulled away by Uathach, Asher breathed a sigh of relief.
Although it was only in a dream, who knew if people of their level might have abilities that could affect reality? If so, it would be troublesome.
After all, why did they suddenly start fighting for no reason?
Despite his continued confusion, Asher didn't dare to press for answers. Bringing up such a thing now might make them start fighting again. It would be better for them to return to their respective places and cool down for now.
