Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Dark clouds churned overhead as a jagged bolt of lightning struck Su Yan.

Crack!

The earth split beneath him, and a shimmering aura wrapped his body. His pupils slit into cold vertical slits; patches of midnight-blue scales sprouted across his arms and chest. Two curling horns burst from his forehead, and powerful claws replaced his hands and feet. Swirling storm clouds coalesced around him.

With a thunderous roar, Su Yan vaulted skyward—and in an instant, where the mage once stood soared an immense azure dragon. Its sinuous body dwarfed even the giant wyrms that remained aloft, while crimson flame clung to its wrists and ankles like living fire.

From every corner of Magnolia Library Plaza, mages looked up in awe.

"Is that…Su Yan?" one gasped. "He's become a dragon!"

Blue Pegasus wizards and Serpent Scale knights who'd witnessed Su Yan's earlier transformations felt their confidence surge.

"That's Fairy Tail's Su Yan!" came the cry from Sword-Biting Tiger. "He's truly become a dragon!"

Even the dragons Scissor Runner and Liberia, summoned by Rogue, recoiled in shock: no human had ever mastered such draconic power.

On the shattered ground below, Western Saranna and Liberia hesitated.

"King Acnologia was once a man who became dragon…" Liberia muttered. "Could he be the same?"

Scissor Runner snarled, "No mere human may don dragon's flesh!"

With a roar that shook the skies, both wyrms lunged at Su Yan.

But the azure dragon answered with a single flap of its massive wings, sending both attackers spiraling backward.

Perched amid the storm clouds, Laxus exhaled a breathless laugh. "He's finally letting loose!"

Below, the plaza erupted in cheers and renewed hope. The greatest human champion had ascended to true draconic might—now the tide of battle would turn.
