"I can sense them..." the Time Stone whispered, its voice vibrating inside Aiden's skull like the chime of a cosmic bell. "They are here. Our brothers…"
Aiden's eyes snapped open. The air around him crackled with tension.
He stood up immediately.
"Listen up," his voice cut through the War Room, sharp and commanding. "We've got confirmation. Thanos is on Earth—not on the fleet. Tell Nova Corps to let loose. Full engagement. Don't worry about the Titan—we've got him."
His words turned the room to action. Officers rushed to terminals. Magic-users opened communications through arcane channels. Valeria nodded as she sent a pulse through the defense grid. Gwen tapped into the encrypted channels connecting Nova and Earth's command.
"Inform Adam," Aiden continued. "And get the President to send us her secret weapon."
No one hesitated. There was no room for doubt. This was it.
Thor grabbed Mjölnir, his eyes alight with battle-hunger. Captain Marvel floated just above the ground, glowing brighter by the second. Scarlet Witch's red aura pulsed, wrapping her fingers in coiling magic. Iron Man stepped into a sleek, reinforced suit designed for cosmic warfare.
And then there was Aiden. The Dragon God.
"Strange," he said, turning to the sorcerer. "I don't need to tell you what to do. Stay...Hidden"
Doctor Strange nodded calmly, his hands already beginning to spin through gestures. "Even still, I shall fight if there need be."
"I'll try to make sure that never happens," Aiden replied, before bursting skyward in a sonic boom.
...
Where once stood a mighty sanctum, a stronghold of ancient mysticism—there was now only ruin. Rubble, fire, and broken sigils carved into shattered stone.
And atop it all, seated upon a mangled throne of wreckage and arrogance… was Thanos.
He rose as Aiden approached, the golden gauntlet on his left hand gleaming with unholy might. Four stones blazed in perfect harmony—Power. Mind. Reality. Space. Each glowing like a god's heartbeat.
In his other hand, he spun the double-edged sword once before pointing it directly at Aiden.
"Dragon God," Thanos rumbled. "Submit… or die."
Behind the Titan, the Black Order gathered—Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Supergiant, Cull Obsidian, and the silent shadow of Carni Vex. Weapons drawn. Expressions cold.
Behind Aiden, Earth's champions stood ready.
Thor. Carol. Wanda. Stark. And soon, Adam Warlock would arrive. All prepared for war.
Aiden didn't flinch.
"You know there won't be any submissions here," he said coolly. "So why don't we just get this over with?"
Thanos tilted his head slightly, almost amused. "As you wish…"
He lowered his twin blade—but only to raise the gauntlet.
Its stones pulsed with raw energy, ready to unleash devastation.
But Aiden wasn't waiting.
He lunged forward, a streak of furious light hurtling toward the Titan.
And then—
FWOOOOOM.
A massive blue gate erupted beneath their feet, swallowing the entire battlefield.
The space warped violently, magic and stone and air tearing like paper. In a blink, the area was gone.
Everyone—Thanos, Aiden, the Black Order, Earth's heroes—vanished in an instant.
...
Aiden's fist connected with a thunderous crack, the blow launching Thanos through the air like a ragdoll. The Mad Titan's body crashed into the ashen soil with a muted thud—until the Reality Stone pulsed, softening the very ground beneath him, breaking his fall before it could do any real damage.
Thanos stood up slowly, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. And then… he smiled."Ahh... blood," he said with a strange reverence. "I haven't tasted my own in years..."
Aiden's eyes flicked around. This place… wasn't Earth. The twisted, cracked architecture. Monolithic structures crumbled to dust. A red sky choked with smoke and despair. A barren land devoid of life, but once... clearly advanced. Futuristic.
Aiden scowled. "What did you do? Where are we?"
Thanos extended his arm with quiet pride."This is my home. Titan."
Aiden blinked. Then let out a groan. "Oh, what the fuck is this? Lemme guess—you're about to hit me with the tragic villain monologue? Some moral justification about how murdering trillions somehow brings peace to the galaxy? That Titan was a lesson the universe ignored?"
The Mad Titan chuckled darkly."A grand plan? No. This land is no warning. It is a testament to me. Titan did not fall to famine. It did not fall to war. Titan... fell to me."
Aiden's stare hardened as Thanos raised his gauntlet, the Stones glowing faintly.
"I killed them all," Thanos continued. "Every man. Every woman. Every child. I harvested their souls. Offered them to Death—so she might finally look upon me with favor. So she would know that none are more devoted to her than I."
Aiden's expression twisted into something between disbelief and revulsion."You're telling me... you want to end the universe... for a girl?"
Thanos didn't flinch. "Not a girl. Death. The perfect being. Elegant. Eternal. The only one worthy of Thanos."
"Jesus Christ…" Aiden muttered, dragging a hand down his face. "You're actually insane. Like, full-on romantic psychosis level. You killed your entire race just to impress a cosmic entity that ghosted you."
He stepped forward, cracking his neck."You're not a god. You're not a savior. You're just an incel with power."
Power crackled around Aiden as his body began to change. White hair flowed like liquid light. His arms shimmered with divine power. Two majestic, draconic wings of semi-translucent celestial light burst from his back. Horns curled from his temples as a radiant heat poured from his form.
The Dragon God had arrived.
Thanos didn't flinch. His double-edged sword ignited with power from the Power Stone, a glowing haze of raw purple energy coursing around the blade.
Then, reality cracked behind Aiden.
A jagged tear in the world itself opened—and from it emerged another figure. Pale-faced, clad in white robes, and holding a black, grotesque blade that oozed malevolence. The air turned cold.
"DEATH TO ALL GODS!" screamed the man, charging with impossible speed, the Necrosword aimed straight for Aiden's spine.
But Aiden moved faster. His wings whipped around, intercepting the strike with a clash that echoed through Titan's ruins. Aiden twisted mid-air, avoiding Thanos' follow-up lunge with the spear.
He hovered in the air, eyes locked between both enemies."So… that's your identity," Aiden muttered. "Carni Vex, huh? Knull sent you? Gave you the Necrosword too. Makes sense."
Thanos and Carni Vex closed in, twin forces of brute power and void-born hatred.
Aiden sneered."A two-on-one? that seems a bit unfair"
Energy surged from his body in a storm of silver and crimson light. His aura burned like a newborn sun.
"You should've brought the entire Black Order."
Then he vanished.
One moment he was floating between them—next, his fist drove directly into Thanos' abdomen with a shockwave that shattered the ruined streets of Titan. The Titan's eyes widened as the air was punched out of him, his massive frame hurtling across the wasteland like a meteor.
