Chapter 8: The Night of the Full Moon
"What are you here for?"
A blonde woman in revealing clothing said as she put her legs on the table in a cross position.
"We are here to recruit you into the army," Violet said.
"I am not going to join your army unless you give me the commander's position," Hasky replied.
"After all that is the only way I can guarantee my life." She followed up.
I took a glance at Violet to see if she was offended by Hasky's remarks but she did not look like she was mad. It even looked like she agreed with her.
"Then would you consider being hired by the army?" I asked Hasky.
"That is something I can get behind. As long as you agree to pay me for my services. But first. You have to pay me for the damages that you caused to my men." she said as she pulled out a machine gun and aimed at me.
"I don't have any money on me right now. Can't you just add that to your bill when the request from the commander arrives?" I replied.
It's not like I would give her money even if I had some on me.
"That's a good idea." She said as she started out laughing she put her gun down.
Violet looked at me as if I had personally taken her money and given it to Hasky.
She must be thinking that if Hasky demands too much her salary and bonus might get some deduction.
During the short time that I have spent with her, I realized that her loyalty to the commander mainly comes from greed.
Gero was a scientist so he spent a large amount of money on his experiments so he was unable to offer her enough money to buy her loyalty.
But Commander Red didn't hold back when it came to her reward and salary especially since she had a relationship with his son.
But she knows that if he encountered some kind of finicial setback she might be the first to suffer from it since the salary of the other members of the army are not very high.
We discussed about the possible work that she might be assigned to along with some conversation before leaving her hut.
"You have such a foul mouth," Violet said to me as we walked out.
"It's the only way that we can get her onto our side without having to use our money. I am not lying about not having cash on me." I replied.
I then looked into the sky and noticed that it was already nighttime.
The white moon was fully visible and illuminating through the whole sky.
Seeing it makes me remember an important event that is supposed to be occurring at this time.
"The first wish. Have been already made? I wonder if it's the same or does my existance have already started creating abnomilies."
The words spilt out of my mouth.
"Wish? What are you talking about?" Violet who was near me asked.
"You will find out about it soon," I replied.
"What? Why are you talking like I am your subordinate or an underling?" She replied with an irritated tone.
She does not seem to like my reply. I guess it might come off as a little authoritative.
But I don't think I should apologise to her since despite her being my superior she has the same rank as me.
"Hey. What are you doing?" I asked her when got into the car first and then locked it before I got in.
"You pissed me off too much today." She said as she drove off with her two underlings while leaving me behind.
I now understand that Silver's not liking her might be more than a loyalty issue at that moment in time.

At that time in a faraway place.
"What a monster killed Son Gohan? A martial arts master?" A black hair teenager asked.
"Yeah. It destroyed everything. Our house, trees, everything." A boy with a monkey tail replied.
"What kind of monster was it, anyway?" A pig boy asked.
"I was sleeping that night so I don't know." The monkey boy replied.
"Your house was destroyed and you still slept through it?" the pig questioned.
"That night was special. It was a full moon. Grandpa always tells me not to look at the full moon. I don't think it has anything to do with me looking at the full moon." The monkey boy replied.
"I wonder if the monster came out only on the full moon." He questioned.
"Wait, did you look at the moon that night?" A blue hair girl asked the monkey boy.
"Yeah. I was told not to but I wanted to pee so I took a peek at it. But then I fell asleep immediately after that." he replied.
"So if we show him the moon won't we find out the truth." the pig said to the girl.
"But won't we be in trouble if that happens?" The girl asked.
"You are right." the pig agreed with her.
"That was close we can't let him see the full moon now." The young man said as he started to make some distance from the monkey boy.
"Hey. Son kun. You can't look at the full moon no matter what. Got it." The girl said to the monkey boy while pointing at the moon.
"Eh." The monkey boy then looked upwards to see the full moon.
"Uwahhhhhhhhh." The people that are inside the room yelled and cried as the body of the monkey boy started to grow both fur and height.
His clothes were ripped apart as he grew in sight.
Just a few minutes ago the only thing that resembled him was a monkey tail but after the transformation, he does not resemble a human anymore.
He looked only like a huge furry ape.
If Kei met the Giant ape right now he would have no way to defeat it and would have died.
In fact, at that time apart from one man, no one on earth would have been able to stop the Ape.
