Douluo Dalu 3: Legend of the White Fox

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Na'er

Bam!

Wu Zhagkong slammed the communicator down, his eyes flashing with killing intent. He had never felt such a strong urge to harm someone as he did now.

To have caused such severe injuries to Tang Wulin, and then to have the audacity to ask if he passed the assessment and wanted to join Class Zero—how could he even dare to ask such things?

"Teacher Wu, what's going on? When will Gu Yue be back?" Xie Xie asked from the side.

Wu ZhangKong ignored him. Instead, he reopened the communicator and searched for a long-unused number. Upon seeing it, his entire body involuntarily shuddered.

His finger hovered over the call button, but he hesitated, unable to bring himself to press it.

"Teacher Wu, when is the Title Douluo you invited arriving? Let me remind you, if it takes too long, even a Title Douluo might not be able to save your student," the doctor's voice came from the sickroom.

Hearing the doctor's words, Wu ZhangKong stopped hesitating. He took a deep breath and quickly pressed the call button on the communicator.

He did it swiftly, fearing that if he delayed, he would lose the courage to make the call.

At the same time, within the inner academy of Shrek Academy, an elderly man stared at the communicator's number. In an instant, a surge of anger rose within him. He raised the communicator and smashed it forcefully against the wall.

However, just as the communicator was about to hit the wall, he reached out with a powerful pull, using his immense strength to catch it mid-air. He then pressed the connect button and threw the communicator onto the table, clearly not wishing to say anything.

This person was none other than the teacher of Wu ZhangKong at Shrek Academy, the Crimson Dragon Douluo Zuo Shi, a Super Douluo with a Three-word Battle Armor.

"Teacher, I need your help with something," Wu Chang Kong's voice came from the communicator.

Zuo Shi remained silent, his face full of fury as he stared at the communicator. Wu ZhangKong had disappeared for so many years without any news, and now he suddenly called, wanting him to do a favor. How could he not be angry?

"I recently accepted a disciple at East Sea Academy, a student named Tang Wulin. This child is very much like me, and I treat him as my own. But he was severely injured during a competition, and he needs treatment from a Soul Douluo-level healing soul master at the very least. I don't have many people I can rely on, and the only one I can think of is the Holy Spirit Douluo Your Excellency," Wu Chang Kong explained, hoping that Zuo Shi would understand.

Zuo Shi didn't speak even after Wu ZhangKong finished, waiting for an entire minute before hanging up the communicator. He then turned and walked toward the Sea God Pavilion.

Despite his anger toward Wu ZhangKong, he knew that no matter what, he had to offer help now that the request had been made.

Outside the Sea God Pavilion, a girl who looked to be about eight years old was playing happily on a swing, her silver hair flowing in the wind. Despite her young age, she was astonishingly beautiful, with delicate features that were flawless, resembling a fairy princess.

Her amethyst-like eyes sparkled with emotion, captivating anyone who gazed into them. Her skin was so smooth and fair that it looked as if one could draw water from it.

"Little Na'er, is your teacher inside?" Zuo Shi looked at Na'er, his expression softening as he smiled involuntarily.

The moment he saw her, much of his anger toward Wu Chang Kong melted away.

"Grandpa, my teacher is inside. I'll take you to her," Na'er said politely, offering a sweet smile as she led Zuo Shi into the Sea God Pavilion.

"Teacher, where are you? Grandpa Dragon is looking for you." Na'er's voice rang out as Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li slowly walked out.

She wore a water-green dress, simple and elegant, exuding a sense of life and purity. Her appearance was breathtaking, with long green hair cascading down her back.

Her figure was tall, her face appeared to be in her thirties, with a refined and gentle aura. She carried a warm smile on her face.

"Red Dragon Douluo, is there something you need from me?" Ya Li asked with a gentle smile.

Looking at the Saint Spirit Douluo before him, Zuo Shi seemed to momentarily lose his focus. He spoke in a deep voice, "I need you to help me save someone."

"Who?" Ya Li asked with curiosity.

Zuo Shi didn't hide anything. He explained Wu ZhangKong's situation and the request in detail.

"ZhangKong, if it weren't for Long Bing, he wouldn't have been out of touch for so many years," Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li sighed softly. The inner courtyard of Shrek Academy already had very few students, and since she spent most of her time in the inner courtyard, she knew nearly all of them.

Wu ZhangKong was no exception.

"Yes, he's always been stubborn. If it weren't for a situation beyond his control, he wouldn't have had the nerve to come ask me for help. Asking the Holy Spirit Douluo to intervene is not something he would do lightly," Zuo Shi also sighed.

"ZhangKong has already lost Long Bing, how could I bear to see him lose his disciple too? I'll head to East Sea City immediately," Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li said with a gentle smile. She didn't know where Tang Wulin had been injured, instinctively assuming that since she was being asked for help, it must be a fatal injury.

While Zuo Shi and Ya Li were both lamenting Wu ZhangKong's situation, neither noticed that as they mentioned Tang Wulin's injury, a powerful killing intent surged from Na'er, who was standing next to them, her eyes glowing a deep purple.

Although Gu Yue had shown killing intent towards Xia Yi before, even at her most murderous, her killing intent still carried hesitation. Na'er's, however, was pure and unclouded by doubt.

Moreover, Na'er's killing intent was extremely restrained. Not a single hint of it leaked out, even though Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li, a Four-word Battle Armor Super Douluo, was standing nearby, unaware of it.

With the ability to control her killing intent so effectively, Na'er surpassed more than ninety percent of Title Douluos and more than half of Super Douluos.

Na'er held onto Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li's arm. "Teacher, I want to go too."

At that moment, the killing intent in Na'er's eyes disappeared entirely, replaced by the innocence of a normal girl. She held onto Ya Li's arm, swaying back and forth, acting coquettishly.

"Na'er, stop it! I'm going to save someone, not go on a sightseeing trip. I'll take you next time," Ya Li gently pried Na'er off her arm and affectionately ruffled her silver hair.

"I don't want that! I want to go now! I haven't even left the Sea God Temple since coming to Shrek Academy!" Na'er pouted, grabbing Ya Li's clothes, showing a clear "if you don't take me, I won't let you leave" attitude.

"Ya Li, just take her with you," Zuo Shi said with a sigh as he watched Na'er continue to act cute towards Ya Li. He couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the child.

At her age, Na'er was full of energy, and keeping her confined to Sea God Island all the time did seem a bit harsh.

"Alright," Ya Li sighed helplessly. With her Four-word Battle Armor and Super Douluo strength, her speed was extraordinary. Even with Na'er in tow, it wouldn't slow her down too much.

After all, her cultivation was formidable.

Thus, Saint Spirit Douluo Ya Li didn't hesitate, spreading her Battle Armor wings and soaring into the sky, disappearing from Sea God Island with Na'er.

Unlike Zi Ji, who had to worry about being detected by the Federation's radar, Ya Li had a federal identity certification, which allowed her to travel without such concerns.

In a desperate rush, Ya Li increased her speed to the maximum.

Shrek Academy was not far from Star Dou Forest. Xia Yi and Zi Ji had spent an entire day and night traveling by car.

With her flying soul, Ya Li's Battle Armor, and her Super Douluo cultivation, she reached East Sea Academy in a mere fifteen minutes after leaving Sea God Temple.

Upon arriving, Na'er quickly learned what had happened from Ya Li, who began examining Tang Wulin's condition. While Ya Li was focused on Tang Wulin, Na'er quietly slipped away from East Sea Academy.

Star Dou Forest's hidden courtyard near East Sea City was well concealed, but Na'er, familiar with the place, arrived without hesitation.

As soon as she entered the courtyard, her purple eyes suddenly brightened. Two purple soul rings floated around her, and a silver-white spear covered in dragon scales materialized in her hand.
