Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 83: Chapter 83: "Shattered Resolve, Nothing More to Say!"

Half an hour later, the bell rang, signaling the start of class.

The sun bathed the academy grounds in warmth, rejuvenating the earth and heralding the start of a new day.

Yu Xiaogang stood in the center of the field, hands clasped behind his back, his expression deliberately cold to project authority. Before him stood the eight students, lined up by age.

Today, Yu Xiaogang was the only teacher present, as Flender had decreed that all staff would now assist him in teaching.

"Tomorrow at breakfast, I want to see all of you in the cafeteria earlier. Food takes time to digest, and you can't engage in intense activity immediately after eating.

"I'll prepare breakfast at dawn, but if you don't show up within half an hour, don't bother eating."

His sharp gaze swept across the group. He could tell that some weren't taking his words seriously, but he didn't press the issue. After being humiliated by Ning Rongrong the previous day, he wasn't eager to invite more trouble.

"I've reviewed your martial souls and abilities. Starting today, we'll begin intensive training. Dai Mubai, step forward."

Dai Mubai took a step forward, his heterochromatic eyes flashing with determination. Whatever his past flaws, in class he was always the diligent student, ready to follow instructions.

Yu Xiaogang looked at him and said,

"I'm giving you a task. Without causing any major injuries, take down the other seven students one by one."

"Uh..." Dai Mubai froze, staring at Yu Xiaogang like he'd gone mad. After a moment, he muttered,

"Grandmaster, I just recovered from my injuries. Are you trying to send me back to bed?"

Yu Xiaogang's face stiffened. He hadn't been aware of the history between Dai Mubai and Yun Feng until Tang San explained it to him. Still, unwilling to appear unprofessional, Yu Xiaogang persisted.

"You're level 37, and the highest among them is level 34. What's the problem?"

Dai Mubai glanced at Yun Feng and said,

"Grandmaster, you said 'seven.' Do you expect me to fight Yun Feng too?"

Yu Xiaogang froze, realizing his oversight.

"Fine, skip Yun Feng. Just fight the other six."

Before Dai Mubai could reply, Ma Hongjun chimed in with a smirk,

"Why not have Yun Feng fight all seven of us? None of us have faced him head-on yet."

Yun Feng chuckled.

"Sure, I don't mind taking on all seven."

Yu Xiaogang hesitated briefly before nodding.

"Very well, Yun Feng will face all seven. Any objections?"

"No objections," came the unanimous reply. Everyone was curious about Yun Feng's true strength. They had seen him beat Dai Mubai before, but experiencing it firsthand would be different.

Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong were particularly keen to see how vast the gap was between Yun Feng and themselves.

"Be careful, Yun Feng! We won't hold back!" Xiao Wu said as she activated her martial soul.

Yun Feng smiled.

"Come on. If you can last a minute, I'll consider you strong."

At his words, the group sprang into action, summoning their martial souls without hesitation. The resulting light show resembled a dazzling display of fireworks.

Yun Feng, however, simply shook his head and summoned his Zhujinyin martial soul.

The oppressive aura radiating from him immediately spread across the field.

Moving like a bolt of lightning, Yun Feng leapt into the air and launched a punch toward the group. His speed was blinding, his strength overwhelming. His presence alone was suffocating, as if the battlefield were engulfed in flames.

Despite their combined efforts and buffs from Ning Rongrong and Oscar, the group couldn't withstand Yun Feng's relentless assault. He moved like a predator, tearing through their defenses and forcing them into disarray.

In less than thirty seconds, all seven were on the ground, thoroughly defeated.

Standing at the center of the field, Yun Feng exuded an aura of unchallengeable power. His victory was so absolute that it left his opponents' spirits crushed.

Yu Xiaogang's eyes burned with admiration as he watched.

If only Yun Feng were my disciple... With him, my ideals could finally be realized.

Suppressing his excitement, Yu Xiaogang addressed the group.

"Now you've seen Yun Feng's strength. At your current level, defeating him is impossible.

"So stop entertaining unrealistic ideas and follow my training plan."

His words were blunt, and though true, they stung. Yun Feng hadn't even used his higher-level soul skills—just his first skill—and they hadn't been able to force anything more out of him.

The group's pride was shattered, their resolve crumbling as they exchanged bitter smiles.

"We lost. There's nothing more to say," someone muttered.

Yu Xiaogang, noticing their dejected state, decided against further training for the day.

With a sigh, he dismissed them, realizing he'd gain little by pushing them now.
