The blades snapping surprised Inosuke. His Nichirin blades were broken!

The weapons that had just wounded the {demon} were now useless, highlighting the enhanced strength of the molted {spider-faced demon}.

The moment the blades broke, the {demon} swung its arm, sending Inosuke flying again.

This time, the consecutive blows overwhelmed Inosuke. He fell and couldn't get up.

The {demon} approached, grabbed Inosuke's head, and lifted him.

"Don't approach my family!" it repeated.

Knowing he couldn't escape, Inosuke attacked with his remaining strength.

"Beast Breathing, First Form, Piercing!"

He thrust the broken blades at the {demon}'s neck.

The damaged blades pierced the throat but had no effect.

The {demon} squeezed Inosuke's head, seemingly intending to crush it.

"Water Breathing, Eleventh Form, Water Surface Slash!"

Ryuji, observing from the shadows, intervened, using Water Surface Slash.

A sharp blade of water severed the {demon}'s arm, freeing Inosuke, who fell along with the severed arm.

Ryuji approached, but Tomioka Giyu arrived first, attacking the {demon}.

"Water Breathing, Fourth Form, Striking Tide!"

Giyu's attack instantly dismembered the {demon}, swiftly killing it.

Ryuji withdrew; Giyu's presence was unexpected. Had the Demon Slayer Corps' top ranks intervened?

Giyu, though he'd killed the {demon}, was puzzled; it wasn't he who'd saved Inosuke.

Sheathing his blade, Giyu looked around but sensed no one nearby.

Ryuji had concealed his presence, which was natural given his intention to remain hidden.

Inosuke, awestruck by Giyu's skill, thought, "Amazing! Unmatched!

It cut that tough monster down in one hit, like cutting a cabbage!"

Giyu knew finding the person who'd saved Inosuke wouldn't be easy. He sensed no killing intent and the actions demonstrated a desire to save Inosuke.

He abandoned the search.
