Shinji nodded, offering no objections.

Shinichi, meanwhile, no longer underestimated Tanjiro's group, especially Ryuji.

Although Ryuji hadn't reappeared since their separation, Shinichi had considered the possibility of his death.

Tanjiro and Inosuke returned to their separation point. They only found the silk-controlled corpses and the devastation of a fierce battle.

The cracked ground and damaged trees evidenced a brutal fight between Ryuji and the two {Lower Rank demons}.

Tanjiro surveyed the bodies, searching for the man in the blue water-patterned robe and creamy white hair. He called out loudly, "Ryuji-senpai!"

Receiving no answer, he carefully examined each corpse. Despite Ryuji's distinctive appearance, Tanjiro checked each body thoroughly.

Finding no sign of Ryuji among the dead, Tanjiro felt a surge of relief. The probability of Ryuji's death was low.

While he considered the possibility of Ryuji being eaten, if that were true, the {Lower Rank demons} would have targeted him next.

Their absence suggested their fate was also uncertain.

This strengthened Tanjiro's belief that Ryuji had survived.

"Inosuke, let's search for Ryuji-senpai! He's definitely still alive!" Tanjiro suggested.
