Cassandra, The Mafia's Bride

Immediately, they sighted his image at the door, they all bowed down in fear except Cassandra who wasn't afraid of him. He entered her room in a majestic way then he sat on her bed and looked at the maids in an annoying manner.

Maids: (Shivering and scared because they know that they would be punished and killed if care wasn't taken, so they began to beg for their lives) Please, Lord Davis have mercy, we begged her but she refused. Please Sir, don't kill us.

Lord Davis: (Smirked evilly and gestured the hefty men at the door to carry them out and punish them) Since you couldn't please her enough to make her take her bath, then you deserve punishment and after that, you will be given a second chance if you still can't convince her, you know what comes next right?

The maids were screaming as they were pulled out to get punished and Cassandra was confused and feeling sorry for the maids. She never thought that her stubbornness would cause them to get punished and killed if care wasn't taken. Then she faced him in annoyance

She was very angry and raised her hands to slap him in the face but he held her hand and looked at her straight in the eyes, they could feel their breathe on their faces. Their aura filled the room, one could sense that they were both angry at each other. She tried to release herself but he was stronger than her.

Cassandra: Why did you punish them without my permission? They are my maids and so I get to punish them or reward them, it's none of your business. You shouldn't be meddling in my affairs, I also have a say in this mansion and I can do whatever I want with or without your permission.

Lord Davis: (Wasn't surprised at her level of confidence and bravery, he just smirked evilly and let go of her hands) Yeah, right. Why didn't I think of that before, seeing that you are now my woman, whatever is yours shouldn't concern me at all. I'm very sorry for meddling in your affairs, it won't repeat itself again. But before I give you authority in this mansion (he was closer to her in a seductive way and she was moving backwards, until her back hit a wall, then he pinned her down with his both hands holding hers'. It was dark by then and the moon light was out to grace such union. He pushed her towards to the huge bed and pinned her down, she tried all she could but to no avail, she had to give in to fate and allow him to have his way through her. She was virgin and had never done it before so it was so painful and he was rough with her, not minding that she was a virgin. He enjoyed her screaming so much that he added more pressure, at a time she got tired of screaming and she was beginning to enjoy it, so she calmed down. After riding her for an hour plus, he got tired and fell on the bed at her side. They were covered with a duvet, they slept till daybreak, he woke up earlier than her, he spent time enjoying her morning beauty, he was pleased with himself that he had forcefully collected her from her parents and now she was fully bride. No one could take her away now. He took his bath and ordered breakfast for her.

When she woke up she was tired, angry and had a splitting headache, she was feeling used, she felt pain all over her body. She couldn't get up from the bed, so she called out for the maids to come take care of her. Immediately she called out to them, they entered her room with a new dress and helped her to take her bath and they dressed her up, made her hair and makeup. After that, breakfast was served in bed, she didn't eat much and that raised concern for the maids and the guards outside her room. Their boss wasn't around, he went out to his secret layer to deal with a betrayal. She was on her bed the whole day, she rejected the afternoon food prepared for her, she wasn't feeling well. 

After a while, in the evening he came back home. When he stepped into the mansion, he was told she wasn't feeling well, he quickly rushed to her room to see her. She looked pale, so he called a family doctor to come check on her, it took a while but the doctor later came out of her room with him. They went to the sitting room, the doctor was served a hot tea and some cakes.

Lord Davis: (he had a worried expression on his face) Doctor what's wrong with her?

Doctor: Oh, don't be scared, she's alright. Just caught the chills and she has fever, but after a long rest, she would be fine. Don't stress her much, she's not that strong and can easily be affected by the harsh weather here, so for now she should remain indoors and she shouldn't be allowed to perform any strenuous exercise.

Lord Davis: Ok , thank you doctor. I'll try to make sure that I do all you have said.

Doctor: (Satisfied with his answer, knowing fully well that even though Davis appears to be a cruel man he never takes health matters for joke. He even has a saying that says; After God, then health, then any other thing can come next) But, I need to make something clear to you.

Lord Davis: (already knew what the doctor wanted to say but acted like he had no idea) And what's that?

Doctor: The issue of your low sperm count. With that on ground, you won't have a child, except you adopt one. You will be childless, and no one will carry on your legacy.

Lord Davis: (Was already tired of hearing this issue) Doctor, I've told you times without number, there is no way I'm adopting a child. If I will remain childless then so be it. I don't need a child now.

Doctor: Ok, if you say so.
