Isane Kotetsu gasped, eyes wide. "L-Lieutenant Kusajishi?! What are you doing? Why would you attack someone we've just met?!"

She glanced around in panic, but there was no trace of the man.

"That wasn't like you at all," Isane added, still catching her breath. "I didn't even sense any hostility…"

Yachiru tilted her head, looking off in the direction Guenael had disappeared.

"Hmm… I dunno," she muttered, resting her fists on her hips with a casual smile. "When I saw that guy, I felt all tingly."

"Tingly?" Isane echoed, clearly not following.

"Yeah," Yachiru nodded. "Like… like I was getting excited! My tummy got all fluttery, and I thought, 'Oooh, I wanna smack him!'"

Isane's jaw dropped slightly. "That's… not exactly a good reason."

Yachiru turned to her with a big grin.

"But that's what Ken-chan would do, right? He always says it's best to listen to your gut! If your gut says 'he's a baddie,' then slash first and ask questions later!"

He staggered, breath ragged, eyes wild.

"I should've dodged that! I did dodge! How could I possibly be hit?!"

His voice cracked into a scream of disbelief, his face contorted in horror. "That should've been a clean escape!! It's not possible—!"

But Yachiru merely tilted her head, her expression calm, almost bored.

"You're wasting your breath, Mr. Disappearing Act."

She raised her sword again, pointing it directly at Guenael. Her voice remained playful, but her eyes gleamed with an unnatural sharpness.

"It's useless, y'know. My sword'll hit you no matter what."

Guenael froze, disbelief painted across his face. "W-What…?"

Yachiru took a step forward, her smile widening.

"My sword... is a copycat sword!"

As she said it, the air behind her rippled.

"There's a copycat in front of the blade…"

The space behind her wavered again.

"…and another behind it!"

A pulse of pink-and-black reiryoku exploded outward as Yachiru's spiritual pressure finally surged into full view—feminine, playful, and utterly terrifying.

With a soft giggle, she raised her blade high.

"Sanpo Kenjū!!"

In that moment, the audience watching the projection gasped.

Behind Yachiru, two bizarre figures materialized—neither Shinigami nor Hollow, but somewhere in-between. One stood to her right with grotesque limbs and a mocking face, while the other mirrored her stance perfectly from the left, eyes glowing with an eerie light.
