After learning that Kenpachi Zaraki hadn't used his Bankai yet, Nnoitra's eyes bulged out in disbelief. He gritted his teeth, unwilling to accept such a massive gap existed between himself and Kenpachi Zaraki.

Hmph! He refused to believe it.

He had nearly crippled Kenpachi Zaraki - surely that would force him to use his Bankai?

Even if he was instantly killed by Kenpachi's Bankai afterward, at least he would have no regrets!

In the Wandenreich, the Quincy were also discussing what technique Kenpachi Zaraki would employ next.

But Nnoitra insisted on his conviction, and Kenpachi Zaraki seemed to understand his inner desire.

That was to die at the hands of a true warrior, thus completing the death he desired!

Kenpachi Zaraki, respecting his opponent's resolve, swung his final strike and ended Nnoitra's life!
