"Show your face, you despicable woman," she shouted, but Esther was unresponsive, her body limp and still.

"I can't believe you did this, Sister Esther, how could you do this against Brother Lachlan," Lilith interjected, her voice soft but laced with venom, her words hanging in the air like a challenge. "We trusted you, but this is how you repay us," she added, her tone dripping with disappointment. "Now you see Lachlan, the maid whom you protected for ten years is nothing but a disgusting and fugitive fraudster," Elena chimed in, wriggling her nose in disgust, the scent of expensive perfume wafting through the air.

Gilbert Gu, who was unconscious, was suddenly awoken by the noise, his head spinning, his vision blurred, and his ears ringing. He was suddenly pulled behind and slapped mercilessly by an external force, causing him to regain full consciousness, the sound of the slap echoing through the room. He opened his eyes and was staring into Liam's furious eyes, Liam's face red with anger and his fists clenched. "You despicable scumbag, how dare you touch my sister?" Liam growled, slapping Gilbert's face with force that caused him to bleed from his nose, the sound of flesh hitting flesh filling the air. "What are you talking about?" "You still dare to pretend, huh! I will show you," Liam snarled, his voice low and menacing. Just when Liam was about to throw a punch, the door suddenly swung open, revealing a bunch of reporters, their cameras flashing and their voices shouting questions, the room erupting into chaos.
