“Are you feeling a bit better?”

“Yes, but it’s still not enough.”

Just looking at his eyes, which still hadn’t fully lost their redness, I could tell. Even though sex was efficient for guiding, it took considerable effort and time to calm an S-class Esper who had far exceeded the safety threshold.

I immediately called the team leader. After a couple of rings, I heard the team leader’s voice.

– Oh, Su-hyeon. Did the guiding go well?

“Yes, it ended well.”

– How’s Ji-hyeok’s condition? Are you okay?

“Yes, we’re both fine. After finishing the guiding, the tension suddenly released and I fell asleep… I’m sorry for contacting you late. You must have been worried.”

I had actually passed out first, but I explained it that way. If Song Ji-hyeok had contacted the team leader later, there wouldn’t have been any calls to me.

– As long as there’s nothing wrong, that’s good. You did a great job.

I sniffled unnecessarily, feeling a bit embarrassed. Even without exaggeration or flowery words, the team leader’s praise had the power to make my shoulders perk up. The good news didn’t end there.

– I’ll process it as guiding leave for today, so get some rest. Tell Ji-hyeok to send a text if he wants to rest too.

Suddenly, I had nothing to do. Without even thinking about it, I slowly made my way back to the guest room.

Although I’m usually the type who feels hunger before sleepiness, it depends on the situation. Perhaps because my body felt heavy and sore down below, I didn’t feel hungry. More than that, I wanted to stretch out my back for even an hour or two right away.

But as soon as I reached the door, I realized my mistake. The room was still a mess, and the unpleasant smell lingered. Above all, seeing the shoe marks on the bed and the white stains dried here and there, I completely lost the desire to lie down.

Suddenly, I thought of Song Ji-hyeok’s bedroom. It was big, spacious, soft, and above all, the bed was warm. I felt like I could fall asleep right away if I lay down there again.
