Chapter 29 – Akeno Starts to Fall in Love!

The two of them were still locked in a hug—completely initiated by Akeno.

Meanwhile, outside Akira's apartment, Akeno Himejima leaned against the wall, one hand on her chest, her breathing shallow and her face still flushed.

She didn't know why… but earlier, Akira had looked so alluring. So captivating.

She had nearly lost control—nearly done something she couldn't take back…

Thankfully, her rationality kicked in just in time. She managed to pull herself back before going too far.

"Why…? Am I falling for that special boy? Is it because we share the same tastes? Or… because he doesn't care who I really am…?"

Her face turned an even deeper shade of red. Her head felt light, as if she were drunk on love.

She shook her head softly, trying to calm herself down. Then, she activated a teleportation spell, and in a flash of magic, vanished from in front of Akira's door.

Elsewhere, in the Occult Research Club room—despite it being a day off—Rias Gremory was present as usual.

Normally, Akeno would be by her side. Since childhood, the two had been nearly inseparable—not just as master and servant, but like sisters.
