Attack On Demons

Chapter 18: Chapter 18 : Drawing plots

In the Central Hunters Guild, Ten Hunters were sitted on a round table. The room was wide. It's interior design was an evidence of technology. Artifacts such as demon heads, pieces and even gems of strong and powerful demons were here. This was the Hall of Lecture and Store. It was a hall were the Central Hunters stayed discuss vital issues and store precious items.

"The Hunters on America have cleared the last Dungeon that opened. I could day that they are doing pretty well." a man with dark eyes and long blonde red hair said. He was Velix a powerful Central Hunter. He had a great ability at controlling the dead. This helped him greatly as he could summon an army of dead bodies.

"Yah. They have a good hand there. I hear of Fist, the one who Hunters say has extreme strength. They believe he is a Legendary rank and as such he could clear a dungeon by himself." Holizon said. His sharp features gave him a definite look. He had a black hair and his eyes were naturally green.

"They are successful unlike Tokyo. About eight outbreaks have occurred there. Tsk. This shows their incompetence in reading Dungeons." Poison said. His golden hair cloaked with his scar on his left eye.

"They say they got a message from us. They claim we ordered them not to attack the demons." Ash Gold said. Poison smiled slightly and a light chuckle escaped his lips.

"Really? Is that an excuse for their incompetence? I expected a better excuse from them. They are just bunch of scraps. Maybe we may choose another country to cover them. A colonisation." Poison snapped.

"No!! They are serious. They lost souls due to that. They can't possibly be lying." Tashida said firmly. Everyone stared at him in shock. No one knew him to be considerate to other humans.

"What do you mean? What are you insinuating?" Velix asked confused about the entire story.

"There are only two explanations at learn for now. Someone toyed with our system and passed the fake information to them or. One of us sent the message to them." Ash Gold said.

Everyone stared at one another. The weight of the accusation. It hung in the air, each of them being sure not to have sent a message to them. The silence was cut sharply by Sasha.

"So I guess none of us did so. Then who did. We might go with your first assumption."

Everyone thought for a while trying to find a clue as to culprit. Tracing such a crime was extremely difficult as the world was filled so many evil minds.

"Well I think, the real question should be 'why'? If we can know the reason behind this felony, then we can guess our culprits." Weslen said.

"I agree with that. Only that..." Sasha paused as felt a wave of energy at the door. The waves sent a large impulse into her ears. She collapsed on the ground as the energy was extremely large .

"What is the matter Sasha?" Robert asked.

"I...I think I can a foreign energy at the door." she said. Tashida grinned angrily and stood up.

"Who the fuck could have the nerves to come here!?" he exclaimed as anger flushed within him. He stretched his hands towards the door and sparks of electricity began to flow in his hands. Its bright nature glowed sharply. The doors opened...

BOOOOM!!!!

*******

A dark figure stood by side, cloaked with black robe. It backed the views. A slight presence of a dangerous arua could be detected. Glowing across the dark room was a fire torch light. The room looked too old, too old to be in a modern world with recent technology.

Somewhere by the side of the room, a man knelt on the ground. His blue hair dimmed in the crimson light. It wasn't too dark to notice that it was Dominion. His face was pale and blood was gushing from an open wound on his forehead.

There was an eerie silence, one too fragile to be broken. A dense fear sank in the heart of Dominion. He knew death was by the corner. He had failed the demin king, Katalatan. For some reason, he spoke.

"I'm...I'm sorry...I...I." he was rudely interrupted by Katalatan.

"Just shut up!! Since you couldn't get me child, you do deserve to live." the demon said fiercely. Dominion shrugged under his breathe.

"But I would give you a second chance. If you fail, I will not hesitate to kill you." Katalatan said. Dominion stared at him, happy and glad at the idea of second chance. He knew too well that Katalatan could sniff his life out within seconds. Katalatan was a dangerous breed of demon.

"Yes lord. I promise efficiency. I would get you the boy no matter what." Dominion said loyally. Katalatan turned instantly, his fierce look striking hard and sending shivers to run down the spine of Dominion.

"But my lord, why don't you get him yourself at least you are too powerful for even the Central Hunters. They can't stop you if you dare." Dominion said with a smirk. This question had been bothering him as he knew that Katalatan was extremely powerful.

"I do not want to show in yet. Not now. I have plans and strategies for my world. I plan to conquer this world with my infinite power. That boy is only but a tool for my plans." Katalatan said.

"What exactly do you plan to do with him if I am free to ask?" Dominion asked feeling a bit perturbed by Katalatan's words.

Katalatan smiled gracefully, his smirk was extremely dreaded and it sent arrows of fear into Dominion. Dominion knelt there, hid heart pondered on what course of action he would he could take next.

"Somethings are kept away from others. Somethings are better secret than exposed. Right now you to are a tool in my hands." Katalatan said in jestry.

Dominion grinned shamelessly . Katalatan had made a mess out of him. He was now nothing in his sight. But what could he do,Katalatan was far superior to him than he imagined. He would do anything so as to please him.

"Yes, my lord. I am your tool but have mercy enough on me to bless me." Dominion pleaded in fear and loyalty. Katalatan smirked in pride. Then an outburst of laughter echoed in darkness. Dominion knelt still and helpless. He knew two things for sure.

Katalatan was extremely powerful and had interesting plans. He also knew that getting that boy would be more than a task. It would be burden and struggle.

"Leave." Katalatan commanded rather than spoke. Dominion nodded and Katalatan turned sharply to reveal a skeletal face. Its dreaded look sent a wave of chill and horror.
