Attack On Demons

Chapter 15: Chapter 15 : Weslen

Weslen walked out of a building, carrying a boy in his arms. His steps were steady and smooth. His green hair waved in the direction of the wind. He walked along a lonely street. The only thing that kept him company was the unconscious boy, sleeping in his arms.

Inside the building lay Zalion soaked in his own blood on the floor. The chairs which they had sat on had broken into pieces. Tallyzod lay close to the wall. His face was smashed to nothing but bones and blood. Hid body was headless and blood was splattered across the wall over his head. Slain and Dominion were not in the room.

Weslen walled on and soon he was out of the street. He flaged down a cab and got in. He looked at the boy strangely. Hid brain was letting loose. Why did the four criminals kidnap the son of a poor old woman? What was going to be their gain in all this? Weslen closed his eyes and sighed deeply.

He wasn't going to take the boy to the his mother. He would take him to the Central Guild to question him later. At least he believed the boy had a clue as to why they were after his life. Even if he knew nothing, he had to keel him with the Guild. He knew that Slain was not dead and as far as he was living, he might go after the boy again.

He pulled out his phone and dialed a number. The name of the receiver he was calling was saved as Sasha.

"Hey, I will be coming with a kid. Could you make a reservation for him?" There was a slight change chuckle on the other end.

"Yes. Seems like we've got a lot of things to work on today."

Weslen didn't respond, he just hung up and stared at the open streets. He watched people go about with their activities.

All he had ever wanted was to be a normal being. All he wanted to be was to be a human and not a super human. He had tried to live like a human but he always spoilt his social life.

Once a time,he was playing football with some boys when he aimed for the goal a d shot the ball. The ball shot the goalie and he bled profusely from a deep injury the shot had given him. Everyone called him a monster. They referred to him as human demon. They began to fear him and that soured his social relationship with them.

He hardly made friends and whenever he did, he ended up getting them injured or putting up a scene. He has once or twice tried getting on a date with a girl but he always messed things up.

His last date soured bitterly. He had only finished proposing to the girl before a scene unfolded that made her mad and scared. While crossing the road abs still staring at her all happy, a truck enhanced into him.

She screamed in fear but all of a sudden, the truck tore into two as it crossed Weslen. She gasped in shock and fear. Then she ran away throwing his ring and flowers.

"Bad memories..." Weslen muttered as he stared at the same ring in his hands. He squeezed it hard as tears rolled down his cheek.

The cab stopped in front of the Central Guild gate. Weslen got down from the the cab and got into the Guild with the boy in his arms.

Inside the Central Guild water sophisticated machined, dangerous looking weapons and some unique artifacts. Some Hunters were present too. Weslen walked inside the extremely spacious vicinity. The internal beauty and technology proved mostly to show their lavish.

Weslen took a lift through the elevator and got to the topmost part of the building. He walked towards a door and pressed his palm against a flat metal. It was a finger print detector.

"Acess granted." a mechanical voice echoed. Weslen walked into the room. Inside the room was scanty. Only two Hunters were here– Sasha and Termod.

Sasha was a female Central Hunter. She was extremely talented and had the power to control sounds and waves. Her magic unique but she always seemed to be ever cheerful. Her blue hair knocked in with her radiating beauty.

Termod was male Central Hunter. He was an ex- ninja but he still preferred to dress like one. His black robes had a fascinating beauty with the robes tied around his mouth. His white hair was naturally long and silk. He was a deadly Hunter who had the ability to possess beings. This power made him extremely dangerous but useless.

"What's with the boy?" Termod asked from where he sat. Weslen walked on until he reached Sasha.

"Could you please drop him in the room you reserved for him?" Sasha smiled cheerfully and carried the boy and walked away.

Weslen grabbed a sear and sat down. Termod stared at him. He noticed how stressed he was. He looked away and decided to let him be.

"He was kidnapped by a criminal." Weslen said slowly but firmly. Termod stared at him in shock. He robbed his hand against the desk.

"Why would anyone kidnap him? He doesn't look rich. I thought those criminals were always after money?" Termod asked. Weslen heaved a sigh.

"Same with me. A reason why I brought him here. I've got some questions for him. Moreover a criminal is still out there and he wants the boy. The best I can do is to keep him here. I will meet his mother later." Weslen said. Termod stared at nothing.

"What of Robert? Where are the rest?" Welsen asked.

"Yah. Robert went to pick up Ash Gold and Tashida in Tokyo. As for the rest, I really can't say." Termod said.

"The sudden outbreaks in Tokyo is somewhat unnatural. This would be their eight outbreak since the past two months. Does their dungeons have issues in reading the atmosphere?" Weslen asked. Termod tilted his head to stare at their system. It was a system that displayed stats of outbreaks in various countries.

Japan– 9 outbreaks

Russia – 3 outbreaks

America– 2 outbreaks

Germany– 1 outbreaks

"Don't know. Its somewhat suspicious but there's no trace so far. But the annoying thing is that the Hunter didn't signal us on time." Termod said.

"They should have a reason. They can't be that crazy to face an Legendary dungeon." Weslen muttered to himself.

Sasha walked in and both Termod and Weslen stared at her. She smiled weirdly and sat beside Weslen. Weslen turned to stare at her.

"What's with the look!" Weslen asked.

"Nothing much. Just imagined going out on a date with someone who cares for others especially younger ones." she said and chuckled lightly.

"Not like I care.' Weslen said and looked away. Sasha smiled and chuckled again.

"You two do get along together." Termod said. Weslen stared at him feeling a bit embarrassed. He didn't want girls in his life anymore. He felt he was a bunch of misery to them.

"Knock it off! Not like she isn't close to everyone else. Besides I have no feelings for girls." Weslen said and squeezed his fists. Sasha smiled at him.

"One day you will open up." she said and Weslen turned to her. What did she mean? Open up? How?

"You really can't hide it for long. Feeling are like waves all moving in a specific direction. Love, anger, hatred, calmness and even happiness are waves. You can control them but you can't hide them. They drive straight to the target even in a slightest cut." Sasha said and got up. She went up a table and answered the phone.

Weslen stared at her. Was she reading his emotions like a therapist? To hell with her conclusions. The only feeling he had was hatred. Hatred towards hid very own self. He felt he owed the world something. That was to protect those he has hurt– the humans.

"Ash Gold and others are here." Sasha let out and Termod turned to stare at her.
