Astral's Adventures

Chapter 262: ACU Part 1: Palkia

What is a dream other than something to seize for one's self?

Astral looked to the stars as he looked at the two behind him. "Well, once I activate this beacon you two will see what the true might of my empire was. Until then. Rest inside of the pocket dimension. You can still mess with them however just hold off on fighting them. Something soon is shifting deep below the scenes." Astral pointed to the star he looked at and found.

"Which means when we go there, we will be the outsiders?" Hoshikuto looked at Astral as his eyes drooped. He then found a smaller spark of hope. "But we can meet some of the others you have fought with and ask stories." Astral nodded as Hoshihiro stayed silent. He had slightly less enthusiasm about it all.

"I just want to be able to hone my final form. My eyes hurt while using it but it could mean the difference between winning and losing." Hoshihiro looked over to Astral as Astral's face turned from a star struck awe to a smirk.

"Believe it or not. There is in fact one person that could help with that. However this is one loose end I need to tie before I leave you with him. There seems to be a weird pull to it all with him. He does call for you." Astral laughed as he held up his hand and opened a hole into the pocket dimension. The two Hoshi's hopped in as the bystanders at the restaurant all watched in awe. 'Checkmate, you can't hide from me forever.'

Astral's pointed finger was still on his destination as he jumped off the space station and flew through the emptiness of space. While he was traveling he dug deep inside of himself to try and figure out what missing part of him this emotion could be. Once he reached the galaxy he wondered if it was worth him hiding? Or was it to hide and be away from the Seventeen.

Astral got to the solar system as he looked at the star and all the fake planets surrounding him. He stayed still one million miles from the star. Its fiery roar dwarfed any and all noise he could make. 'Stars have souls. But this one is mine. It won't let me just take it back.' Astral extended his wrist as he encompassed the entire sun inside of a bubble charm. It silenced the noise as space became devoid of noise once more. Astral looked through the bubble and the fiery flames on the surface as the core of the planet was blue.

"No sun is pure blue. You wanted to be found sometime. Perhaps sooner rather than later." Astral scoffed as he awaited a response. Expecting it to come through the soul. He opened the gates as Delta looked directly at the star from Astral's left eye.

"Sir odds say this fight is around a three to one win to loss chance." Delta blurted out as two hands came from the orb and popped it. No roaring solar flares came from the sun as Astral awaited. He smiled from below his helmet.

"You have awaken me. My peaceful slumber space traveler. Not just any traveler however." The voice rang deep. It made Astral shudder in his suit as he had an eerie feeling from the voice, it felt like a trap set by Titan, but he could take him right now. "I am you and you are me. We both want peace and partake in warfare. We both love history and culture and destroy it. Forming cults in our wake that do nothing but worship us."

"I am me, you are but a part of me. My actions have caused you to accept action from it. You have made more actions in the last two thousand years than I have in the last three. Therefore, Your actions are my actions. You are me. But what part?"

"Similar to the one before. The one that will always be happy and cheerful. All I seek is for a peaceful world, galaxy, universe. With our actions we now will never have that without major interference. I would prefer to not have that happen however."

"Do you have any way to fix that? Or will you rely purely off of me and my legacy. Relying on a name that can only carry my own burdens." Astral paused as he looked deep into the core. There was much more to untangle than what actually existed. "If you gave out wishes or advice. Based off of my name. Then we shall be responsible."

"If I did not, it means we are clear from this galaxy, all you want to do is clear your name. The difference being to erase us from history you must be the first to die, it's a shame. Your shame." The sun roared directly at Astral as he held firm hovering in place. "I, Palkia will be your end."

"Ending me ends almost every fabric of existence not just for you and I, but for billions and trillions of others. You are choosing this path incorrectly for the correct reasons." Astral's suit glared to life as it began to shine bright white. He crouched into a battle stance as he awaited the greatest challenge yet. 'Delta, analyze the attack patterns and prepare for the openings.' Astral tapped into the magical half of his abilities as a glyph formed below his feet. It was a stable platform for him as they began to glitter the space around them.

Blades of light began to shoot out from the sun as Astral moved around them and dodged them. Feeling the immense pressure not just from his magic but also from his abilities and his emotions. They wanted to be highly volatile with how he was acting. Astral did not want to give up any part of his control. Nor would he as his left eye shattered. Allowing for a viewpoint for all the other emotions as Astral stayed in control with his right. He dashed on the glyphs as each one was destroyed separately by beams of light.

Palkia wanted no part in all this action. He wanted to end the storied history of Astral. The cursed name, a mythic being of sinful proportions. His crimes against all shall be studied for millenium. Palkia knew if he won that the universe would go to its own unstable state for the Seventeen to rule again. And maybe it is better that way. Palkia saw no futures where if Astral won here that he would ever turn out pure, whole, and himself after beating him.
