Astral's Adventures

Angel lifted off the ground and soared past Titan as he brushed the idea of her flying around as a cowardly move. James held both spears in his hands as Titan tried to break through his defenses. James held him at bay as all he could do was collide with the spears.

Titan felt like this wasn't fair to the two of them, their genetics and ability carried them this far and yet. With their experience and knowledge. What could they do to put him down for good. They weren't fast enough or strong enough. 'No high tier magic, just weather if needed to down the bird.'

Angel hovered in the air as she pulled out the rifle and had a good angle as she fired seven rounds. Each light round was absorbed into a shield. He flicked the wrist with the glove as the bullets were reflected back at her. She soared faster than ever to evade them. All they hoped to do was to keep stalling for time and that was running thin.

Titan blocked the non stop attacks from James with his right arm, it was trivial to him as each attack could not pierce his skin. All James was worried about was not holding back anything! Titan redirected his focus as he grabbed James' skull to have him pause in the moment. Summoning an avalanche of snow and ice over Angel as she swung around the avalanche.

James took the window he had as he stabbed his claws into Titan's arms as they did nothing. 'This was the power they were told to fear, and yet why, why can they not keep up!' James felt the pressure on his skull growing as he slowly felt it cracking. Grasping his hands onto Titan's fingers to slow the crushing of his skull.

Avoiding the ice narrowly and diving directly at Titan, using her fallen feathers to slice his arm off. Angel glided by as James hopped back away from Titan as his arm fell to the ground, a new one took its place. "Toying around is not enough. I want the best." Titan saw James close the gap once more. Being forced backwards by a new level of sheer strength. Titan took a sharp breath inwards as each smack with the spear shattered a bone of his.

Growling James would look into Titan's eyes. "You will not stop me." James' hair was turning darker by the second. Angel pulled out Astral's rifle, aimed, and fired at Titan. Who used a barrier spell to stop the bullets in their track. She just needed to buy James time. She swooped in closer, firing more shots at Titan. All of which were blocked. She used her spear after closing the gap and swung at his head. Titan moved out of the way at the last second. 

James kept the barrage of his attacks coming, the pain from the collarbone still lingering on him. The pain made his stacks shoot up as he let instinct take over. His speed became fluid as he threw the spear, charging in and gashing open Titan as he bided his time, his blood oozing onto his clothes.

Titan stood still as James got too close. James pierced each of his shoulders with a spear as Titan had no care, he wound up a punch and threw it down at James, who ducked under and kicked Titan's calf, shattering both of their legs in the same instance. James reeled back in pain, rolling backwards as Titan slammed the ground in front of him to get to him. Angel swooped in as she sliced his face open with her feathers. She glided past him as he did nothing to attack her, it did nothing to him.

"What, are you going to tickle me to death?" Titan giggled a little bit with his comment. He batted away James with the back of his hand as he hit a pole and used it to slow his momentum as it shattered from the pure energy from his claws. 

James charged in once more, feeling his calf explode as Titan laid a single finger on it. One foot shattered and no muscle on the other, he could hardly stand as the pain was immense. Angel opened fire with Astral's rifle as Titan blocked the bullets in a bubble spell. James stayed standing as he slowly walked forward and tried to attack Titan.

"Silly little children, who can't do more than tickle me. That's all you are" Titan flicked the bullets back at Angel who evaded them once more, but then they refracted after passing her, following her as she approached Titan, each one hitting the ground along her flight path as she zigged and zagged around. Closing the gap she had a sword from her feathers as she went to slice him in the chest.

He ignored defending it as he reached over her and crushed her wings with his hands, she fell hard into the ground and rolled. Tears started streaming down her face as the pain was immense. Titan walked over as he lifted up his foot to stomp her. James flashed by as the foot came down. Shattering her arm and ripping everything from the elbow down off.

The two of them curled together defeated. Exhausted beyond any normal feeling, they knew they couldn't win, but even without a large abuse of magic they still loss, how? Titan saw the two curled up as he sighed. "He thought of you two as the pillars to his empire he created." He trotted over slowly. "Too bad you won't live to see the rest of the crumbling empire.

James raised his hand as he tried to swipe Titan away. "It's over and you lost. Die peacefully." Titan grinned as he looked down and raised his foot. The end was imminent for them, no Astral, no Jaimie, no May. Angel looked up as her eye became cloudy once more before passing out, the pain was too much as was the blood loss as James kept waving his arm to sway Titan away. This was their end as Titan pushed his foot down.
