"They think they're safe up there in their shiny towers, but I've got a little surprise for them! And it's gonna be a big one!" Jinx patted the detonator like it was a beloved pet, her grin growing wider.

Bael sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Don't get carried away," he warned, but it was too late. Jinx was already vibrating with anticipation, practically bouncing in place as she lined up her first target.

With a maniacal grin, Jinx turned to him. "Too late, Bael! They're already fucked!" She pressed the detonator, and for a brief moment, everything went silent.

And then—BOOM. The explosion ripped through the air, shaking the building beneath them. Jinx's laughter drowned out the blast as she jumped up and down, the adrenaline pumping through her veins. "YES! YES! DID YOU SEE THAT? DID YOU SEE THEM SQUIRM?!" She whooped, practically bouncing off the walls as she skipped in a circle, her hands waving in the air like a mad conductor orchestrating her symphony of destruction. "I can't believe they thought they could stop us! I'm gonna paint the whole city with their faces! Hahaha!"

Jinx watched as she practically danced in place, her eyes wide with glee, her heart beating in time with the chaos she'd just unleashed. She was out of control, and maybe—just maybe—that was the way she was always meant to be.

"Alright, alright," Bael said, his voice steady as he pulled out a small map of the city. "Now let's keep things rolling. No time to waste. We've got a whole city to shake up, and we're just getting started."

Jinx's eyes sparkled with excitement, her whole body vibrating with the anticipation of more destruction. "You bet we do, Bael! Let's make it beautiful! We'll turn Piltover into a firework show—but with way more blood!" She threw her head back, cackling again, the sound wild and unhinged. "Let's make this place a mess!"

And with that, they ran toward their next target—Jinx leading the charge, her mind already racing ahead to the next explosion, the next bit of destruction.

The city was on edge, sirens blaring as the enforcers raced toward the chaos. But for Jinx and Bael, it was all part of the fun.

"Look at them scrambling!" Jinx giggled, her voice high-pitched with excitement. "Oh, I love the way they panic. It's like they've never seen an explosion!" Her eyes were twinkling with manic delight as she watched the enforcers race toward the flames.

Bael's gaze flicked toward the approaching enforcers. His mind was calculating, "They'll be here any second," he muttered, not bothered by the approaching danger. He had a feeling Jinx would take care of things in her own unique way.

Jinx's grin only grew wider as she spun around to face him. "Of course they'll be here! But you know what's the best part? They think they can stop me! Hahaha!" Her voice broke into wild laughter as she pulled out a few more gadgets from her belt, each one glowing with blue energy.

She flicked a switch, and the next set of explosives was ready. "Let's give them a warm welcome, Bael!" she shouted, throwing the first explosive toward the group of enforcers rushing toward them.

"LET'S STOP THEM I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO STOP IN TH—..." The enforcers rushed but we're taken aback by the objects falling from the ennemies' position.

"What the HELL is that?!" An enforcer points towards a glowing robotic toy that was falling towards them.

And when it came in contact... BOOM !

The explosion rocked the ground beneath them, sending debris and fire flying in all directions. The enforcers scattered, trying to take cover, but Jinx was already two steps ahead.

(A/N: Not a nikocado reference btw.)

She dashed to the side, her movements a blur of speed and chaos as she launched more devices at them, each one sending another explosive shockwave rippling through the air.

"Is that all you've got?!" Jinx shouted at the retreating enforcers, her voice mocking as she fired off another device, sending them scattering once more.

Bael sighed, but there was a smirk on his face. He loved her, in all her madness. "Let's get going, Jinx," he called out, his tone calm as ever. "We don't need to stick around for the whole party."

Jinx stopped mid-twirl, suddenly looking disappointed. "Awwww, do we have to leave already?" she pouted, her lip quivering just enough to make Bael raise an eyebrow. "I was having so much fun."

Bael gestured toward the edge of the rooftop, where a getaway route had already been planned. "We've made our point. Time to move on to the next phase."

Jinx's face immediately brightened, her pout turning into a grin. "Next phase? Ooh, I like the sound of that!"

But then, Bael's gaze fell upon one particular enforcer. Her face, was very familiar. It was the enforcers that tried to stop him 10 years ago, when he robbed the shop. It was Caitlyn, she noticed his presence but probably didn't recognize him since the distance that separated them was very big.

"Stay here Jinx, i'm coming in a bit." Bael says, jumping from the building and going to see Caitlyn.

"Alright! You go do your voodo-whatever stuff meanwhile I take on these dumbass enforcers!" Jinx pulls out Pow-Pow and starts firing the bullets everywhere.

Bael landed on the ground with a soft thud, his mechanical arm making a faint whirring sound as it adjusted to the landing.

She was standing with a group of enforcers, her expression focused, scanning the scene with sharp eyes. It had been years, but Bael remembered her well—her face had been the last thing he saw when he ran from the shop all those years ago.

She stood tall, her rifle slung over her shoulder, but there was a flicker of doubt in her eyes. "You," she said, her voice guarded as she took a step back, instinctively reaching for the weapon at her side.

The two enforcers beside her were shot quickly by Bael and his steam handcanon, knocking them. "You." He says, blowing the steam off his hand canon.

Caitlyn looks at this with confusion and anger. Bael stopped a few feet from her. "I didn't think you'd still be around, Caitlyn," he said, his tone casual, though the air around them felt thick with tension. "Still working for the enforcers after all these years?" His gaze shifted toward her rifle, a little smirk playing on his lips. "I'd say that's a waste of talent, don't you think?"

Caitlyn's hand hovered over her weapon, but she didn't make any sudden moves. "Bael?" Her voice was tentative, as if she were trying to place him. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Bael raised an eyebrow. "You don't remember me? The guy you almost caught stealing from a shop all those years ago?"

There was a flash of recognition in her eyes, but it was fleeting, quickly replaced by suspicion. "You're... the thief?" she said slowly, her gaze scanning him. "What do you want?"

Bael took a step closer, lowering his voice just enough for only her to hear. "I'm not here to cause trouble. I just wanted to see if you still remember the guy who got away, Caitlyn." His eyes hardened slightly

"Things change," she said, the words tinged with regret. "And people do, too. But you... you're still the same. Foolish... Sloppy and a pathetic law-breaker."

Bael giggles for a second, waving his gun as he said, "Sometimes you just gotta force yourself to do things you never want to do for the sake of a better tomorrow... or a tomorrow, simply."

Caitlyn didn't flinch. She kept her cool, her eyes scanning him as if weighing her options. "What's your game, Bael? What do you want from me?"

Bael took a deep breath, stepping back just a bit to keep a safe distance. "I don't want anything from you, Caitlyn. I just thought I'd say hello. You know, for old times' sake."

Caitlyn didn't lower her guard, but something in her expression shifted. There was a moment of silence between them, filled only by the distant sounds of chaos, the rumbles of Jinx's explosions echoing through the streets.

"Something HUGE is going to hit Piltover soon." He reveals.

"Pardon?" She says, caught off guard.

"Ha. I can't reveal it now, but let me tell you that things will get quirky, real bad." He adds.

She lifts her rifle, "I'll have to arrest you then." She aims at his head.

But with a swift motion, Bael shoots her hat with speed so fast she couldn't react. Her ears, triggered by the hiss of the bullet, make the girl turn around instinctively to inspector what happened; he aimed at her hat to lure her.

Bael was gone, and so was the key to his plans.

Caitlyn is lost now, she doesn't know what to do nor what's coming her way...

...

Bael made his way back to the rooftop, his mechanical arm whirring slightly as he climbed. As he reached the top, he saw Jinx crouched near the edge, her signature pistol in hand, taking precise shots at the enforcers below.

"HA! That one almost did a little dance!" she shouted gleefully, twirling her pistol in one hand before aiming at another target. "Come on, you dimwits! Give me something exciting!"

Bael shook his head, a small smirk on his face as he walked toward her. "Having fun, I see," he said, his voice calm but firm.

Jinx turned to him, her bright eyes gleaming with excitement. "Oh, you missed it, Bael! That last guy almost wet himself when I got his hat! You should've seen his face!"

He sighed, placing a hand on her shoulder. "As much as I love watching you have the time of your life, we've got to move. The enforcers aren't going to back off, and I don't want us getting cornered."

Jinx pouted, blowing a strand of blue hair from her face. "Aww, but I'm just getting started! These guys are so boring—they run like little mice when you fire at them!"

"Jinx," Bael said more sternly, meeting her gaze. "We've got what we came for. Let's go before they send reinforcements."

She rolled her eyes dramatically but holstered her pistol, standing up and stretching. "Fine, fine. But you owe me some explosions later, okay? Like, big ones. Maybe I can rig one of their silly Hexgates to blow up!"

Bael raised an eyebrow. "We'll see. Now come on."

As they moved away from the edge of the rooftop, Jinx couldn't resist peeking over her shoulder and tossing a small grenade toward the enforcers below. "Here's a parting gift, losers!" she shouted, grinning as the grenade exploded in a burst of smoke and sparks, sending the enforcers scattering.

"Really?" Bael muttered, pulling her along.

"What? Just a little fun!" Jinx said, giggling as they slipped into the shadows, disappearing from view.

The two moved quickly through the labyrinth of rooftops and alleyways, reaching Zaun in no time which had evolved drastically. But backwards this time.

They reached their hideout where they could enjoy the after-party.

"For a guy who likes to play it safe, you're pretty fun to drag into trouble."

Bael chuckled softly, shaking his head as he began inspecting their gear. "And for a girl who lives for chaos, you sure know how to keep things... interesting."

Jinx grinned, leaning back with a satisfied sigh. "Admit it, Bael—you'd be so bored without me."

He didn't answer right away, but the faint smile on his face was all the response she needed.
