Arcane Drifters – Chapter 87: "Outside the Dungeon – The World Begins to Fall"

Scene: Heavenly Paradise – Sacred Sky Chamber

The paradise floated silently above the mortal world, filled with golden light and glowing towers.

Inside the Chamber of Divine Missions, angels and high guards rushed around in panic.

Commander Elydrin:

"Status?! Where's Zaniel? What happened to the mission?!"

A scout slammed into the floor, gasping for breath.

Scout:

"Mission... failed! The seal... broken...!"

The large mirror in the chamber flickered violently — showing a terrifying shadow emerging from a dark crater on Earth.

Scene: Southern Wastelands – Arcane Break Zone

A storm of black magic covered the skies.

Out of it walked a tall, pale figure with blood-red armor and glowing crimson eyes.

Vampire Ryno – The Ancient Curse Lord.

Behind him, five other monstrous beings stepped forward — the Five Arcane Generals, each controlling a different elemental destruction.

Blazarok – Fire Destruction Beast

Tremora – Earthquake Goddess

Zyllion – Dark Mist Reaper

Tempestus – Wind Tyrant

Malgora – Bone Serpent Queen

The Earth trembled.

Ryno (smiling):

"The gods failed. The drifters are weak. The Age of Arcane has begun."

Scene: Dungeon – Floor 120, Inside the Forbidden Depths

Shen stood alone on a glowing floor.

The atmosphere changed.

His breath paused.

Shen (thinking):

> "…Something just happened."

He turned to the sky above the dungeon — even though they were underground, he could feel it.

Shen (whispering):

> "Ryno…"

Suddenly, a massive pulse of divine red pressure swept through the air.

The entire dungeon shook.

Shen (serious):

> "My friends are outside. My people are outside. And danger… is rising."

He slowly looked down at his hands.

Black energy began burning away.

His form changed.

Light erupted from his body. His hair turned glowing white, his eyes became galaxies.

He had transformed into his PURE IDENTITY FORM —

The Original Soul of Magic.

Shen:

"Let's finish this."

SFX: ZOOM!

In One Millisecond...

100 FLOORS CLEARED.

Dungeon bosses exploded. Traps erased. Monsters disappeared before even sensing him.

The other chosen ones only saw a streak of blinding light flash past them.

Mira:

"…Was that Shen?!"

Taren (sweating):

"Don't ask. Just follow."

Shen stood on Floor 220, calm but glowing like a god.

He looked up into the dark endless tower of the dungeon.

Shen (smiling):

> "I'm coming, my friends."

"Just wait for me a little longer."
