The first wave of monsters burst forward — a horde of dungeon beasts: armored bears, screeching fire eagles, stone-bodied ogres, and even a giant mushroom riding another mushroom.
The Chosen 6 of the seven-party team stood ready.
Taren Lux (Lightning Fencer):
"Where is that last guy… Shen? Don't tell me he ditched the mission."
Mira Valden (Snow Witch):
"Wasn't he suspended? Maybe he's not allowed to enter."
Grunt Voro (Iron-Armed Dwarf):

A gust of wind blasted across the battlefield.

Shen strolled into a side room. It was dark, foggy, and smelled like expired slime.

A glowing ghost floated out.
Its tongue stuck out, its face twisted like a bad drawing, and its eyes bulged.
Ugly Ghost:
"YOU! Who dares enter my domai—"
Shen didn't react.
Instead, he just looked at the ghost… silently.
The room fell quiet.
They both took one slow step forward… like a cowboy duel.
Ghost (thinking):

"No hey, boy please go 😭 I can't survive by fighting with you!"
Shen stepped again.
Ghost (panicking):
"N-no bro, you're in the wrong room! Go that way! I swear I'm just part-time!!"
Shen lifted one sword slowly.
Ghost (screaming):
"AAAAAH I HAVE GHOST KIDS AT HOME!!"
Poof!
The ghost exploded into sparkles before Shen even touched him.
