Arcane Drifters – Chapter 83: "The Secret of the Gods – The Seven Who Shall Clear the Dungeon"

Location: Heavenly Paradise – Divine Command Tower

Far above the world where mortals walked, in a floating palace surrounded by clouds of gold and thunder, the Heavenly Paradise Command Center stood still. The usual energy of the great council was silent.

Today… something was different.

Seven cloaked figures sat in a glowing circle. Ancient light symbols hovered in the air.

One of them lowered their hood.

Zaniel — once a mysterious silent supporter of the Arcane Drifters, now revealed to be a key guardian of paradise.

Zaniel (calmly):

"The gods have spoken. The Dungeon of Valtrux... is not just a test. It is a seal."

Voice from another cloaked figure:

"A seal?"

Zaniel:

"Yes. A god was imprisoned inside. That richman didn't buy the dungeon—he was allowed to buy it. Someone wants that god released…"

The room darkened.

Another voice (Commander of Light):

"But what of the boy… Shen Karguro? His name has appeared in the 'Heavenly Glare Scroll'."

Zaniel (eyes narrowing):

"He is the only one with the potential to reach the core room. Even the elite failed. But… he's still just a suspended drifter."

Scene Switch – Earth Realm, Dungeon Entrance

The entrance began to glow.

Only a few people passed the 8km-long line. Most were disqualified due to energy mismatch.

System Voice:

> "CANDIDATE ACCEPTED: SHEN KARGURO – Dungeon Energy Accepted – Soul Signature: Infinite"

Inside, the golden gates opened automatically as if they had waited centuries.

Shen (narrating):

"I don't know why, but I feel like this dungeon… was waiting for me."

Deep Inside the Dungeon

Thousands of challengers had already failed.

Explosions. Crumbling stairs. Shadow beasts.

Only one light glowed ahead.

Shen walked calmly, his cloak untouched.

His energy wasn't leaking.

It was limitless.

Suddenly, a divine voice echoed through the chamber:

> "THE SEVEN SHALL CLEAR. THOSE WHO CARRY THE WILL."

All remaining energy points in the dungeon connected to seven individuals — the strongest who had survived the beginning levels.

They were summoned by golden light to a floating platform above the center.

All stared at Shen, who remained calm with his hands in his pockets.

"Who is this guy…? His magic pressure feels… bottomless."

Renji:

"Tch. Doesn't matter. If he slows us down, I'll go solo."

Shen (smirking):

"You can try."
