Amalton: Prophesy Proclaimed.

Chapter 8: He? On Planet Earth.

'Well, you have your powers now but, that's just the beginning of your journey' Munni said.

'What's left to do Munni? We all know that Bathsuk can't be defeated, and I have touched base with the depths, it seems everyone feels fine about Bathsuk's reign, who am I to disturb his peaceful reign?' Kyan asked the gods.

He sounded like he just didn't want to interfere in the whole charade of the depths but the truth was that he was very scared of Bathsuk, he hadn't seen him before but he knew that he was dangerous, he wasn't the father he had or wished he had, he was just another ruthless monster in his non- fictious horror movie.

'If Mandelvat actually felt that way, you would have been dead by now Kyan, I will keep repeating that the world's existence lies in your hands' Maltzubri said with an acute tone.

'Bathsuk is my father and I know him, he won't come for the humans, he doesn't care about them' Kyan said, hoping to persuade the gods.

Munni sighed and Maltzubri shakes his head with a disturbed look.

'Bathsuk has no son, Kyan, you are an orphan in the depths, no matter what you do, you can never be his son' Amaltob said and those words struck Kyan's heart, tearing it into a million piece.

'That's not true! Bathsuk will love me once he knows that...

'You are his son?' Maltzurbi asked with a mocking tone.

Kyan slowly nodded and then he came to a conclusion.

He had no reason to save the world when he could not get his world.

'I refuse to help the world!' he thought.

'You did say that the world is in great danger, right?' he asked, facing Munni.

'Yes, Kyan' Munni replied as due.

'But what does this have to do with me, huh? Shall I kill my father for some bunch of ungrateful mortals?' he asked without the slightest sight of empathy in his truth.

And for a moment, he, and even the gods saw Bathsuk in him and they were terrified.

'Since you don't want to help anyone... Munni paused and performed some quick rituals, with his powers he summoned all the powers Mandelvat gave to Kyan.

'I feel empty' Kyan complained as he searched himself.

'I have taken your powers Kyan, unless you truly need it, you won't get it' Munni said and the three gods disappeared.

Kyan stared blankly into space for a little time before walking out of the study.

Even after his loss, he felt no sympathy.

He could have said it was a happy forever after, but just like they had said it was just beginning, and he?

He only realized the truth afterwards.

He sat quietly on the roof terrace, trying to come to terms with his decision of rejection.

'Did I do the right thing? They said the whole world's faith lies in my hands, but how is that even possible, I...

He was disrupted by the unusual occurrence and change in atmosphere of the environment.

He was about to summon the gods and enquire about the new occurrence when he sensed a strange aura behind him.

He turned to scrutinize but he came in contact with the bulging eyes of the monster.

Startled, Kyan drew his fists, ready for an unsure battle.

The monster laughed with a lot of enthusiasm.

'Do you think that I will be frightened by any of that?' The monster asked with a lot of curiosity as he stared at Kyan.

From the bulging eyes, to the horns, then to the pendant buried in his chest, Kyan realized that the monster was Bathsuk. But he wasn't going to give in to whatever he wanted.

'Coming to the human world is prohibited, is it not against the rule that even your king had set' Kyan said.

He knew how important it was to hide his knowledge about his recognition, the cold looking monster didn't look like he was here for some fun, and to be fair, he had never been at a place for fun.

Bathsuk smiled at him and slowly transformed into a human, and that human was someone else, and not his father.

Enraged, Kyan tried to stop Bathsuk from entering the house but, Bathsuk wasn't going to give in to a small child, with his index finger, he threw Kyan toward the door that led to the main house.

Kyan was still groaning in pains as the force and strength in which he was thrown made him to be an accupunture of the door.

Moments later, Granny came to the roof terrace but, she wasn't looking for Kyan, instead, she came for Bathsuk.

Amelia appeared and helped Kyan from the hurtful clutches of the door while Bathsuk and Granny were looking away.

Bathsuk's inner eyes gazed at the young spirit and he immediately recognized her as Kyan's guardian spirit, he wasn't going to ignore the little aura that emitted from Kyan's body as he knew exactly who he was.

'So he is the one that will be brought to stop me. Oh, Mandelvat, you have chosen the wrong person this time, and you can't imagine how sad you will be when he comes crawling at your coffin.

Let's see what he can do without his guardian spirit.' Bathsuk thought.

He stared at granny and they communicated telepathically.

'I want her and I will get her'

'She is of no use, she is his familiar spirit, that's what I could turn her into'

'I want her! And no one can stop me'

Bathsuk said and within a flash, he had disappeared with Granny, leaving the environment in chaos.

Kyan was about to leave the scene dejectedly when he saw the ground exuding an alluring light that seemed to be only in their boundaries.

'What's that?' he asked intriguingly, as he walked towards the spot where light emitted.

There was a symbol on the ground but light only emitted from one part of it, but as soon as Amelia came close to the symbol, strong light emitted and Amelia was about to get sucked in.

With all his strength, Kyan pulled her and as soon as she got the chance, she disappeared, leaving the scene.

The portal closed immediately she left the scene and Kyan heard Bathsuk's voice.

'You can't always have it your way, I will leave her to you but... Make sure you call at the depths, it is very important if you want your granny back... Son'.

He tried yelling but, it felt like the voices were only programmed to speak.

He stared intently at the place where the symbol was placed as he thought of his granny.

He was forced to remember the three gods and their words.

'Truly, this is just the beginning' he said sadly and called out to Amelia as he walked back into the house.
