Amalton: Prophesy Proclaimed.

Chapter 9: A Blood Bait

He was still at it, trying to figure out what went wrong when the three gods came visiting.

Now, he was in the living room. When he saw the three gods, he felt embarrassed.

'Why are you here, do you wish to mock me?' he asked.

'Do you think we have nothing to do with our precious time, that we will wish to spend it mocking a mortal' Maltzubri said with a frown which made Kyan realize that they were more serious than he thought.

'What do you want?' Kyan asked with a sense of disgrace.

'Are you willing to assist, now? That's your only way of getting your beloved mortal back' Munni said, while glancing at the others.

Silently, Kyan walked towards the study and then he chuckled loudly.

'Do you think I will accept your offers because Bathsuk won?'

'This is impossible' Maltzubri muttered in frustration'

'Why won't you help Kyan? What do you tend to gain if the whole world is ruined because I am sure even you won't be kept alive' Amaltob said.

Kyan turned to face them with a fierce look.

'I don't need to gain anything, but... at another thought of it, I will gain a lot as I won't have to delve into a deadly journey'

'The only way to discover the truth is to indulge in the truth' Amaltob said .

'It is much better if I don't know the truth, knowing the truth will only hurt more' Kyan said.

'You are a mistake Kyan! And you will forever be a mistake, everyone makes a mistake when it comes to you' Maltzubri said in frustration and anger before disappearing.

'Malt... Then, Munni disappeared.

'Find your chosen Nymph in Amalton's divine water' Amaltob said before disappearing.

Kyan did hear Amaltob but he was hurt by Maltzubri's words.

'Maybe he was right' he thought.

His father left him and his mother died, leaving him all alone and now, even his grandmother left and he isn't ready to face his fears and help her.

Maltzubri was right, he was a mistake, a mistake that couldn't be rectified.

Shifting Maltzubri's words off his mind, Kyan decided to take a walk on the busy streets of Boston, he had to let go of the past, somehow.

While walking and sight seeing, Kyan saw a family laughing and jesting with so much enthusiasm, and he couldn't help but feel envious of the children in their midst.

If only he had this kind of life, where he had no extraordinary matters at hands and none of his family members been an evil entity, maybe he would have found true peace. But, yet again, life always had a trick to play.

Maybe he could just take the risk and help save the world. He could not get back what he had lost but he could save some families.

What if he couldn't get his parents love and affection, he could help some families maintain theirs.

'Maltzurbi was right, I was been selfish' he thought.

'I should complete my first true mission. This is going to be so much fun' he said to himself as he ran back home with a smile on his face.

The Hall Of The Wizard Of Amalton

'Allabat, what do you think can be done to eradicate the impending trouble?' Bathsuk asked with a tone equating his feelings to be less interested in a long talk.

'Kill' Allabat paused, and after a short while he was ready to continue but, Bathsuk had something different in mind.

'How about I kill you and see how it feels, I don't wish to kill my son, I only want him out of my way, no matter what happens he is still the sole heir of Amalton and I can't risk his death... He paused, heaved a sigh and then continued. 'He is just under Mandelvat's control, nothing more!' Bathsuk yelled as he summoned great powers.

'N-n-no! Don't kill, don't kill! Take the powers from him.The Lost City Of Zha'thuk! Laeda can be of help' Allabat said.

'Yes' Bathsuk said with a smile as he withdrew his hands and powers. 'Laeda can be of help. Such a powerful sorceress' Bathsuk said in admiration.

'Quit thinking Bathsuk, she despises you and her clan is ready to take you down, do you think she will help?' Amalton's witch asked.

'Of course, mother... He paused and turned to face the witch 'I have something that she wants'

'And what's that, Bathsuk?' The witch asked curiously.

'My blood path' He said with a smile.

' Don't be crazy Bathsuk, that's equivalent to giving her half of your powers, making her more powerful' The witch said.

'The curse had forever lingered upon Amalton but, I am yet to see it fall upon me mother, and I didn't say I will be giving her my blood path, it will only be a bait' he said and disappeared, leaving the atmosphere in exotic chaos.
