There was a reason why Ren Wei was pushing on seeing the person suffering from the icy cold fever.

Now, all those things were coming back to their mind.

Suddenly, their eyes lit up.

With sparkling eyes, Head Li asked. "Senior, how do you know that their is someone lucky in our clan?" His demeanor changed so quickly, even his offensive aura vanished.

That kind of change in behavior made Ren Wei uncomfortable. Just a while ago, the Li clan head was like trying to kill him and now in seconds, his eyes were shining like he found the most likable person.

Now, he even called him "Senior". What the hell?

With side eyes, Ren Wei said in like a disgusted voice. "Hey..hey. What is wrong with you? I am telling you if you don't want to that's fine. I will just leave. Don't give that gay like face."

With that, he turned around and tried to leave.

Knowing that he lost his composure as a head, the Li clan head quickly changed back to his normal form.

Ren Wei stopped his tract when he heard the sentence. He smiled but quickly concealed it. Then he turned around to face them. "Then, lead the way."

"Haha, senior can just call me Li Fang." Head Li introduced himself.

"Okey okey, just lead the way." Ren Wei was not trying to remember anything. He was just there to get his unknown reward.

"This way, senior." Both Head Li and Old Lu quickly showed him the way and led him out of the hall.

Hearing the man, who was older than him, called him 'senior'. Ren Wei was a but uncomfortable. But when he thought about it, he felt it was not that much. And technically, he has lived two lives. So, it did not matter.

With the two men leading the way, Ren Wei arrived a quiet courtyard with a guards guarding the door of the house.

Seeing the patriarch, the two quickly saluted. "Patriarch."

Head Li simply nodded and the trio went inside.

When the trio entered inside the house, they saw a woman sitting on a chair taking care of a young boy on the bed. Judging from the scene, the woman looked exhausted with her hairs all messed up, darken skin under the eyes showing her lack of sleep. And her dried up lips.

The young boy was also in a very bad condition, with lots of blankets on his body but still with a cold face.

His condition was so bad that even the room temperature was chilling.

The moment trio arrived, the woman quickly looked and with tears in her eyes she approached Li Fang. With a voice full of sadness, she pleaded. "Husband, please.... just find .. a way.. to make ...my son free from this madness."

Li Fang softly comforted his wife, wiping her tears. "Hey..., don't worry anymore. I already found someone who can cure our son."

When Ren Wei saw the scene of the parents worrying about their child, he felt the pain they were feeling. At that moment, he thought of his children.

"But senior, our young master is suffering from icy cold fever not Cold Qi." Old Lu said. The two Li hushand and wife also looked at Ren Wei, questioning with their eyes.

"Just do it as I say if you don't want to make your son's life more miserable." Ren Wei felt it was not necessary to keep on explaining. So he directly went for the best method.

As soon as the woman heard the condition of her son, she instantly snatched the fish from Old Lu's hand and hurriedly ran out with the fish. She was going to make the soup by herself.
