After Jin Xuyan said this, he let out a long sigh and carried his friend to the house. Since the second floor was his and his girlfriend's bedroom, he didn't let his friend go there and placed him on the couch instead.

Sitting on the couch, Fu Guai's gaze never left Jin Xuyan. Wherever he went, his eyes would follow. If one didn't know, they might have thought that he was in love with him and couldn't bear to let him out of his sight.

Noticing the gaze, Jin Xuyan took a seat across from him. As they stared at each other, black mist suddenly seeped out from Fu Guai's body.

As more and more black mist seeped out from his body, the black, long nails on his fingers slowly returned to normal. Even his black eyes also showed signs of returning to normal.

Standing not far from him, Jin Xuyan noticed these changes. He didn't know what would happen to his friend and could only carry him out to the pond. As he put him down, he quickly fed him more pond water.

At first, he thought that Fu Guai wouldn't be able to drink. But the moment the water touched his lips, he gulped it down. Seeing that he still wanted more, Jin Xuyan continued feeding him water.

Two hours later, the crystal core finally stopped absorbing the energy as the zombie virus inside Fu Guai's body had been sucked out by the space and turned into energy.

After a moment, both Jiao Lizhi and Fu Guai opened their eyes at the same time.

When Jin Xuyan saw his friend's eyes, he was stunned.

His eyes had returned to normal. While his pupils still retained the silver color, they were no longer all black. He checked his body and found that his friend no longer had rigor mortis and his nails had returned to normal.

He looked at him and asked, "Fu Guai, can you recognize me?"

"My name is Jin Xuyan. We grew up together in the orphanage. We have been best friends for years before you were kidnapped," he said.
