Yu-Gi-Oh GX - Playing Again

I didn't take the time to view everyone's duel. I already knew the outcome and was aware of how things would turn out. The most important thing for me to do is to build my connections before leaving for the island. I didn't go to any dual institutions before applying so I knew for a fact that hoping to be Obelisk blue was out of the question. In all honesty, I just want a place of my own building on that island so I went to the one person who can do just that.

-1 hour later-

*Ding dong*

I walked through one of the most well-known corporate buildings in Domino city.

I noticed a lady at the reception desk just getting off the call before approaching me.

Just to give you guys a simple background, I have NEVER entered this building before as my Parents never let me leave the island. They pretty much grounded me on the island for that last stunt in Egypt and it wasn't until I whined and begged that they finally let me go. The only condition they gave me was that I needed to wear my deck box wherever I went as they had installed a tracker in my dual disk.

"Hello, Welcome to Kaiba Tower. How can I be of service today?"

The lady in question looked almost like an airline stewardess without the cap. She had a blue navy uniformed dress cloths and high heels. Her hair was also kept neat and tied into a bun and I read her nametag which read "Nagisa".

"Nice to meet you Nagisa, I am here to meet with Mokuba. Can you let him know that Shiro is here and that I have a request?"

The lady gave me an awkward smile

"I'm afraid Mr. Mokuba is not in today as he is quite busy. Maybe there is something I can do to help instead?"

It's true that Mokuba could be busy. After all, he helps run this joint.

"it's alright, I'll call him. I kinda came unannounced so I understand your predicament."

I'm in no way like those stupid protagonist fools who go somewhere and demand to see the head honcho just to be refused and throw a fit. I always thought that particular cliché was kinda dumb.

prrrrrrr…. prrrrrr…. kchk

"Hey Shiro, I heard you passed the practical with flying colors."

"Hey Mokuba, yeah, it was an OTK." I said

"What's an OTK?"

"It means one turn knock-out."

At this point the receptionist looks a little bewildered and a little dumbfounded that I'm talking to one of the lead people inside Kaiba Corp.

"Anyways, I don't want to get side tracked so can you come get me?"

"Sure! Where you at?"

"Downstairs with your receptionist"

"Wait, you here?!"

"Yeah, just got here in fact."

"Pass the phone over to the receptionist."

I look over at the receptionist who was now in tears like she was about to be fired.

"Hey Mokuba? This nice lady was just doing her job and she is doing it fantastically, give her a raise." I said as I tossed my phone to here.

She catches it in surprise as she answers the phone.

"Nagisa here. Yes. Yes sir. Thank you very much sir. Right away sir."

Afterwards, she hangs up the phone and hands the phone back to me very politely.

"Mr. Pegasus, it is an absolute honor to meet you and I thank you sincerely. Please allow me to take you to Mr. Mokuba' s office immediately."

I grin in my natural angelic manner "Of course."

I followed behind the receptionist as we rode the elevator to the top floor.

When we reached the 100th floor of the building, we stopped in front of 2 doors in a small room that were standing side by side with 2 plaque signs on them.

"Mokuba' s Office" "Kaiba' s Office"

"Wow, a whole floor to themselves huh." I looked to the receptionist with a tired chuckle.

"He really doesn't do things by halves does he?" I asked the receptionist.

The receptionist seemed to laugh weakly "I heard Mr. Kaiba had a fight with management to take up two floors. One for himself and one for Mr. Mokuba and because of the constant delays they decided on the concession of just giving them one full floor at the very top."

"Pfffft. Hahahaha, you mean that even that stubborn Kaiba had to concede at something that didn't have to do with a dual?!!!"

Suddenly the door opened as Kaiba and Mokuba walked out.

The receptionist paled and cowered.

"Is something funny?" Kaiba growled.

Mokuba was behind him looking like he was trying to gasp for air while not holding back laughing.

"Don't worry Kaiba, I wont tell anyone. I just thought it was a little funny that for someone who was known for winning at everything other than a dual against Yugi, would actually be forced to concede at something." I said in a light manner.

"Grrrr. Look, if we weren't already behind on schedule, I would have kept up that fight and won." Kaiba yelled.

"I know, I know, Sometimes people get so heated up that they tend to forget that time can be a factor as well. Its no big deal Kaiba."

Hmph

Mokuba decided to chip in at this time "He's right Kaiba, Plus, this means I get to be closer to keep an eye on you and we can be together right?"

Kaiba just turned around and went back into his office "Whatever"

Despite his brush off, we could clearly see a light tinge of pink ears from the side as it disappeared behind the door.

"Your brothers a Bro-con buddy."

"Yep!! But he's still my brother." He said in a chipper tone.

"Anyways, why'd you come over today?"

I gave a wide grin as I pulled out a map of the island from my pocket.

"I want to buy some land."
