Chapter 20: An encounter
I love you ( fo you still love me?).Beatrice and Hosea were lost in the act, with Hosea inside her, fulfilling his desires. Mr. Elizur opened the door and stepped into the office, curious as to why Hosea and Beatrice had locked themselves in. He was the only one who could access the door with his master card.
As he walked into the office, he approached the main area where Hosea and Beatrice were having intercourse. Just then, his phone rang. Mr. Elizur walked over to answer it; it was Ruben calling. He stepped outside, locking the door behind him just as he had it.
Menella was dressed in a stunning blue dress that her friend Saira had helped her pick out. The dress fit her perfectly and had a beautiful shine to it, although it was quite short, which didn't usually like. However, it was the best choice for her plan to confront Chris.
Saira added a silver chain around Menella's neck and said, "There! Now you look more like a Disney princess." Menella felt breathtaking. She rarely dressed this way for fear of making a man fall for her. Chris had once been her dream man, but now she felt nothing but hatred for him.
"It's beautiful, Saira. I think you'd do better as a designer than as a journalist," Menella said.
Saira smiled. "Point of correction: I'm a reporter, not a journalist." She stepped back and picked up her phone. "What did you tell your grandma this time?" She opened her phone to use the camera and put it on portrait mode. Menella turned to her and said, "Well, I always tell her I'm having a sleepover at your place."
Saira snapped multiple photos of Menella as she got up from the chair, which was quite wobbly. "You know I don't like you lying to your grandma. You're being a bad girl."
Menella smiled as she took a glass of water from the fridge. "What else did you expect me to say? Besides, it's not a lie. I am actually going to have a sleepover at your house. But first, I'm going to see that jerk named Chris. I can't believe I'm going on a date with a guy like him after what he did. Has love really made you go mad?"
Menella smiled. "I just want to clear things up with him, that's all." She drank the water and closed the fridge. Saira made a doubtful expression and said, "Or are you going to give him what he wants?"
Menella frowned at Saira. "I can't believe you think so little of me. Do you think he's offering me money or—"
Saira noticed the change in tone of Menella's voice and knew her friend was now angry. "That's not what I meant! You're taking this too far." But Menella was still upset and wanted to clarify things with her friend.
"You see," she said, "I won't sell my virginity, even for the biggest mansion in the world. All the gold, diamonds, silver, and money in this world don't mean anything to me compared to my virginity." With that, she walked out on Saira.
Saira tried to call her back. "That's not what I meant, Menella! How could you think I meant such things? You're my friend, my best friend, and all I want is what's best for you. I know you have a good heart, and I just don't want you to do something you'll regret later."
"I won't. I know what I'm doing," Menella replied.
Saira drew her close and hugged her. "I just don't want you to get your heart broken. I don't understand why you want to see him and why you're dressing up so beautifully. I don't know what to think."
Menella hugged her friend back. "I just want him to know that I'm not the same girl he used to be with—the type who would lie to and believe him instantly, the type who would forgive him and overlook his mistakes after a kiss. I know I should have taken your advice from the start, but now I know better."

Mr. Elizur put on his black gloves and stepped outside. It was beginning to get dark, and it was time to meet with Ruben as he had promised. His men were already waiting for him outside; this was one of his vacation houses, and he had several around the city. He nodded at the other guards as he saw them.

Meanwhile, Beatrice and Hosea lay together; they had both fallen asleep after being intimate. Hosea was the first to wake up, followed by Beatrice. He smiled at her and kissed her. "I want more, Beatrice." She smiled back and kissed him, moving on top of him as they continued to kiss, their tongues dancing together. Just as things were about to heat up, there was a knock on the door.
Beatrice pulled away. "Who is it?" Hosea called out angrily.
From the other side of the door, a voice replied, "It's me, Beck, sir."
Beatrice, hearing this, rushed to get dressed, but Hosea remained calm. "So, what do you want?"
"Sir, Mr. Elizur left a paper for you and wants you to sign a receipt."
"Sure, I'll be in his office shortly." Hosea got up and put on his pants.

Soon, the doorbell rang. Saira went to answer it, and it was a driver sent by Chris. She headed back to her friend Menella, who was getting ready to leave.
"It's his driver," Saira said as she walked over to Menella.
"Okay, I better leave now," Menella replied.
"Do you know where he's taking you?" Saira asked.
"Sure, it's a fancy restaurant. Don't worry, I won't let him try anything."
Saira nodded, hugged her, and then let her go with a wave goodbye.
