After that brief exchange Kyle was then escorted to a room which was located on the 5th floor by one of the space guards. It was already getting late and he needed to rest so he happily agreed.

Your room peasant.. the male guard rudely said his face stained with disgust for Kyle.

What did you call me? Kyle smiled his aura leaking out as his eyes turned red. The guard was immediately engulfed in a trance his body shuddering.

I-i meant your room.. master. He refrased bowing his head in respect. A bit satisfied Kyle then ordered the guard away having no use for him now. His skill was still active on the guard as it would be handful to have a puppet in the guards.

Entering the room with the VIP golden card he was given it was ok to his taste. Not too luxurious just spacious with the essential items found in a room.

I missed you so much. Kyle muttered crashing to the bed with open arms. It had been quite a while since he'd enjoyed the soft comfort of a bed on his skin.

My body is still very weak. Kyle inwardly said stretching his arm a bit. His body had been in pain ever since he woke up from the coma as he wasn't even safe with the slightest movement.

Snow why the hell were the system's consequence for failing the quest so severe? 5 levels deduction.. what the hell! Kyle screamed unable to control his anger as his eyes was twitching slightly. Yes he expected the system's punishment for failing the quest to be quite harsh. But he didn't expect it to be too severe to lead to the reduction in his levels..

How the hell is that even possible.. Kyle felt like crying right now knowing he was five levels behind from reaching level 50. His evolution level. From the various novels he'd read whenever the mc failed to complete a quest by the system he or she was punished. It could either be reduction of stats or hp but never in his years of reading fantasy novels had he ever come across a novel where the system took 5 levels from it's main character.

Snow are you there? Snow!! Hearing no answer Kyle frowned. It had been quite some while since he'd last heard from snow as the last time they talked he noticed she seemed off.

I wonder what's up with her. She's not been answering me lately. Kyle didn't know what the matter was but he guessed it was the doing of the ethereal bright light in his consciousness claiming to be his system?

It's still the same. Looking at his status nothing much had changed except the system optimized itself grouping his lust, demon and mana skills accordingly.

Oh I almost forgot I got a new skill.. Kyle chuckled almost forgotten about his Sonic blast skill he got from killing the giant behemoth and mana still from the strange bright light in his visions.

Hey you fucking entity I know you can hear me. Just know I will never forget what you've done to me and I promise to pay you back tenfolds when am stronger. Kyle vowed in his heart. The reduction of his level toppled with the loss of 10 for all his stats was a huge blow to him. He'd worked hard for those and even luckily gambled with death but now it was mercilessly taken away by the so called system created to aid him.

What is it now.. Kyle frowned hearing the sudden knock at the door. Just before he was about checking his skills he was abruptly stopped by the sudden intrusion.

The king requests your presence at the dinning table. The voice at the other side of the door shouted.

Is it night time already? Because of the dim lighting in the room he couldn't tell if it was night time as the room he was in didn't have any windows. And he didn't see any signs of a clock anywhere.

Grrrr!! As if by coincidence his stomach grumbled in protest demanding food.

I can't remember the last time I had a decent meal. Chuckling a bit he lightly patted his stomach getting up sensing the guard was still at the door.

Opening the door via his golden card Kyle was presented with two male guards both holding weapons. Their bodies immediately shuddered upon seeing Kyle a cold sensation washing down thier spine.

Lead the way.. Kyle gestured. The two guards then looked at each other with worry. Their expression showed they were clearly not at ease with Kyle least of all him tailing behind them.

Hmm.. I can't believe am that scary.. Kyle chuckled trailing behind them as he was then led to the dining hall near the throne room. Entering he could already see troy seated alongside him were eldren, Boris and ona.

Since we'll be working together I figured we should at least eat together. I mean that's what Lumia would've wanted. Scoffing Kyle then proceeded to take a seat besides ona by the right side.

Several dishes were littered across the round metal floating table. Almost all of them were unknown to Kyle only one which was stuffed dumplings.

May I? Ona smiled seeing Kyle was new to the foods on the table. Gently nodding his head ona helped out selecting some dishes for him.

That is called kraham lacrosse with some Beatrice rice leaf delicious with the spicy stuffed dumplings. Ona cleared his confusion passing him some glowing fork and spoon.

These spoons.. t-they're made from mana right? Kyle stuttered a bit shocked clearly feeling mana pulsing through the cutleries.

Of course.. as they say a little mana in your veins might save you from dying.

Haha! Indeed.. Kyle gave out a bittersweet smile. Unfortunately for him he could only feel mana but he couldn't use it yet as it was still locked by the system.

What's his deal. During the course of eating Kyle could notice Boris would occasionally glance at him weirdly before averting his gaze to ona.

Well that was delicious. Eldren smiled wiping his mouth with a napkin. Some maid wearing the usually black dress with a white apron the came and cleared the table.

Standing up Kyle was about taking his leave when he was suddenly stopped by Boris.

You should get some rest boy you're training starts with me at first light tomorrow. Boris smiled his attention turning to ona.

Shouldn't you be escorting your lover? Boris said in a mischievous tone causing ona to spill the grape juice in her hand.

I-i don't understand sir Boris.. ona uttered in shock some tints of red appearing on her cheek.

Come on don't you dare deny it we can all see your little romantic acts. Boris shrugged not buying ona's innocent act.

Shaking his head Kyle dismissed Boris words leaving the room and heading to his. Opening the door with his guard he weakly crashed to the bed exhausted.

That vision what did it mean. Kyle wondered recalling the vision he had before he woke up from his coma. He didn't seem to grasp the meaning of the it as it showed brief moments of his past life on earth.

I-is she really trying to reach out to me? The chances of her reaching out to him were really high but it was just so long he feared something might've gone wrong.
