"What's wrong, Katsuri? You looked like you just saw a ghost." Danjin asked in concern. She had noticed the way Katsuri would just stare blankly into nothing.

The first few minutes could be blamed on her just waking up but it's practically been half an hour already.

Plus, her presence had changed.

If previously it felt like they were dealing with a shy cat, now it's like dealing with a depressed cat.

Maybe she's the kind of person who's different when compared to their usual self the moment the became sleep deprived.

"Do you like coffee? I can make you some if you'd prefer it over tea." Phoebe was also quite concerned about the sudden change in behavior, but she doesn't know how to deal with it.

Well, it was quite the same thing for the two of them as they had never been in charge of babysitting a child... Wait, Katsuri is not a child!

Anyways, Katsuri had just woken up from her nap. She was still on the sitting on the same place she had fallen asleep on.

Although the tea had become a bit warmer instead of hot, it's still not cold enough to lose taste.

All in all, she's quite intimidating, but not in the sense of 'danger-danger'.

While silence consumed the atmosphere, Katsuri spoke up.

"Hm...? Ah, I fell asleep...? What are you two looking at? I told you don't stare at me silently..."

Looking at Katsuri who had covered her face using her palm, the small tinge of red on her ears was prove that she's fully awake now.

Maybe it was true that she's a whole 'nother person when she just woke up.

They're going to need to put a mental note on that.

"Nothing, here. We left some sandwiches for you. Don't go on the rest of the day with an empty stomach."

Danjin pushed the plate towards Katsuri, smiling softly as she was doing so.

"Thanks."

Mummering her gratitude, Katsuri picked up a piece.

Phoebe noticed on the piece that Katsuri had picked up that a chunk of bread was missing. But looking at the way the black haired girl nonchalantly held onto them, it appears that she hasn't noticed yet.

'That piece...'

If she remembered correctly, that's the exact one that Danjin had placed down right as they noticed the Tacet Mark on Katsuri's neck.

'But they're both girls, so it's fine?' She was uncertain. Besides, it's not like she would prefer that piece being wasted.

So there's nothing wrong with Katsuri eating it.

Even looking at Danjin's expression, it doesn't look like she minded it that much.

So what rights does she have to suddenly voiced out her thoughts?

I am currently munching on the last piece of sandwich that was on the plate. Since I already ate quite a bit earlier, my stomach felt like it was about to burst, no kidding.

Since I already have a roof over my head, one of the things from my mental bucket list are now unlisted.

Rover, she needed to find Rover.

Were they the Male or the Female version? That's also another question she would want an answer to.

She needed to know at what point of the story Rover was in. Had they finished the Black Shore yet?

Are they still in Huanglong?

If so then, it's probably going to be quite a while before they reached Rinascita.

How should she approach Rover once they actually got here?

Well, Rover did allow Encore and Verina to approach them... Wait, why is she using them as comparison!?

After a short farewell with both Danjin and Phoebe, Katsuri picked up her sword...?

The same way she became flabbergasted by the last time her sword became a pair of guns, her mind spun at the thought of not even having her own choice of weapon.
