Wrong Luggage, Perfect Curves

Chapter 8: Night In Her Room

Min-jae didn't know what to expect. Claire grabbed his hand and led him to her hotel room, her behavior bold and confident, as if she was accustomed to such situations. They sat in her luxurious room, the windows overlooking the city lights, while she pressed the button to open the minibar without hesitation.

"Do you want something to drink?" she asked, pulling out a bottle of wine.

Min-jae sat uncertainly on the couch, trying to figure out what was happening. "Yeah, wine would… be good," he replied, still confused by her calm demeanor. Not for a moment did he think the evening would take this turn, but all the signs were already there.

Claire smiled, opening the bottle and pouring wine into two glasses. "Just relax," she said, coming over to him and handing him a glass. "No need to be nervous. This is nothing unusual."

He took the glass, but his gaze couldn't leave her. Her confidence, the way she made everything seem so normal with every movement, created a tension that was hard to ignore. He was lost in thought, about to speak, but Claire noticed his tension and smiled.

"Yes, you know, you can relax," she repeated, sipping her wine. A mysterious smile appeared on her lips as she gently set the glass down on the table.

She asked him to stay while she went to change into something more comfortable. Min-jae nodded, still trying to gather his thoughts, while she disappeared behind the bedroom door. His heart was racing, and he felt overwhelmed with emotions; he couldn't relax. Nothing made sense, and every bit of nervousness that took over his body only made him more confused.

A few moments later, the bedroom door opened. Claire emerged, and Min-jae froze. He saw she had changed, but he wasn't ready for what he saw. Instead of regular clothes, she wore a nightdress that revealed more than it covered, her bare chest and lower body exposed. No underwear—Min-jae thought. He felt a strong reaction, not just because of what he saw, but because of her complete ease and confidence. He could tell she was in full control, and that was what confused him.

Claire noticed his reaction, but her confidence remained unshaken. "Don't be confused," she said, approaching him with a gentle smile. "Everything here is much more relaxed than it is with you. Do you ever relax?"

Min-jae sighed, trying to hide his shock. He wasn't sure how to respond, but he knew she was here to challenge him, to test him. He knew this wasn't easy, that he wasn't used to this kind of behavior.

"I think it's just about relaxing," Claire added, as if reading his thoughts. "There's no need for anything to be too serious. It's not a bad thing."

Min-jae listened, full of anticipation and nervousness, but he didn't know what to say. Claire calmed herself and then smiled, as if she wanted to challenge him again, but this time in a completely different way. She closed her eyes, leaned back, and said, "You have a choice, if you think you can't, there's no obligation. But if you want, I'll be here for you to look at."

Min-jae was still confused, but he felt like he wasn't ready to cross that line. Claire had this calmness and confidence, while he was filled with questions and doubts. He wasn't sure if this was the moment when he should take matters into his own hands, or if he should pull away.

Claire observed him, knowing that he wouldn't do anything, knowing he would pull back. But because of this power she had, she didn't want to let him go.

In the end, she approached him and started kissing him. Her kisses were passionate and long, and he couldn't resist. The longer she kissed him, the harder it was for him to do anything, because everything she did seemed so natural. Her movements, everything she did, became normal.

When the kiss turned into silence, she pulled away. "I know you won't do anything," she said with strange satisfaction in her voice. "I know you're not ready for this, and you're not as open as I am."

She stood up, turned around, and walked to the bed.

"Let's sleep. Tomorrow we'll continue when you've calmed down."

When they lay in bed, the whole room was filled with silence. Min-jae lay awake, feeling that the evening had gone in a direction he couldn't control. Claire didn't say a word, but she knew everything. The next morning, when he woke up, she was gone. Her things were no longer in the room. She had left. No goodbye, no message. She had just disappeared.

Min-jae remained lying in silence, disappointed and betrayed. How could he have let himself fall so low? At this moment, he felt a sense of hatred toward her.
