The chaos on the ship was palpable as the students clung to whatever stability they could find amidst the shaking and roaring of the ocean.

Teachers were doing their best to maintain order, but fear was a stubborn adversary. Beneath the surface, Shinji's calm mind was already working through the chaos.

'If Bane gets pissed and loses his reasoning then he will order Atlas to destroy us all...' Shinji thought grimly.

He had successfully convinced the ancient being to amend the agreement, but it was far from foolproof.

Observing Bane closely, however, Shinji noticed subtle movements in the pirate's lips. His blindfold, a legendary artifact, granted him heightened perception and clarity.

"Good," Shinji muttered under his breath. Bane isn't ordering Atlas to obliterate us—yet. For now, only the pirate and his lackeys are a problem.

But just as relief began to seep in, something shifted. Shinji turned his attention to the horizon and froze, his blindfolded eyes widening as though they could truly see. Two figures floated high above the water, their forms faint but undeniable.

They were standing—no, hovering—in midair.

'Who are they?' Shinji's mind raced. His first thought was enemies, but their posture and direction suggested otherwise. They were facing the pirates, not the students. His lips twitched into a thoughtful frown. 'Guardians? Secret protectors? No... this much be a test.'

Shinji remembered the teachers' cryptic warnings about tests when they were on the cabin. He pieced it together quickly: 'these individuals were likely here to evaluate the students in the heat of battle.' His heart began to race—not from fear, but excitement.

'If this is a test, then shouldn't I seize the opportunity to stand out?' A grin crept across his lips. 'Maybe I can earn a scholarship.'

With renewed determination, Shinji opened his status window.

Shinji's face twitched. What's with this ridiculous inventory? He rubbed his temple in frustration. 'Cero is fine, but I do not want to use it here. The rest is useless!'

Finally, he decided to rely on his one chance of luck.

"Wheel of Luck: Spin!"

The wheel appeared in his vision, spinning rapidly until it stopped with a bright ding!

[1x Sode no Shirayuki Obtained!]

-------------------------------------

Shinji blinked. "Eh?" He stared at the result, flabbergasted. 'Of all the weapons I could've obtained, it had to be this?'

'Sode no Shirayuki? The most self-harming bankai in existence?' Shinji muttered in disbelief. 'Why not something practical like a ranged weapon?'

But he had no time to complain. The ship trembled violently as Bane unleashed his attack.

"""'"Shark Wave!"""""

A deafening roar erupted as the ocean churned. Thousands—no, millions—of sharks surged toward the ships, their bodies glistening like blades. The barriers around the vessels held for now, but the relentless onslaught threatened to shatter them.

Shinji knew he had no choice. He needed to act. With a deep breath, he activated the blade. Win by his intuition though over rational thinking he unleashed Rukia bankai, wanting to understand how absolute-zero feels like.

"Bankai!"

The air around him dropped instantly as frost coated the ship's deck. A pure white blade materialized in his hands, its surface shimmering with ice. Snowflakes began to fall, and a cold mist enveloped the area.

"""""""Hakka no Togame!""""""

With a resounding crack, the ocean froze. The once-roaring waves solidified into jagged peaks of ice, trapping the sharks mid-charge. The predators, previously terrifying in their ferocity, were now nothing more than frozen statues.

The students gasped audibly.

"What's happening?"

"Why is it so cold?"

"Did the founder arrive?" Eudora's expression was unreadable as she scanned the horizon. 'Could it be… her?' She thought of the academy's founder, a legendary figure known for her terrifying ice attribute. Rumors said she could freeze time itself.

But the founder was supposed to be in seclusion—sleeping, as she often did for centuries. Eudora frowned. 'Why would she awaken now?'

Her thoughts were interrupted when she spotted the source of the frost. Her eyes widened in disbelief. There, standing amidst the chaos, was not the founder but a figure cloaked in white—a being so serene and beautiful it seemed otherworldly.

The students were equally entranced.

"Is that… a goddess?" one whispered.

With just a glance, many would agree that they were witnessing a goddess descending upon the battlefield.

A stunningly beautiful ice goddess—her aura serene, yet commanding, as if she had been sculpted from the purest frost. But upon closer inspection, shock rippled through the crowd as they realized that this "goddess" was no goddess at all.

It was a prince.

The revelation hit like a tidal wave, leaving everyone speechless. The women who had been mesmerized by the figure quickly averted their gazes, their faces flushing with embarrassment as they realized their mistake of being born.'Why is a he more beautiful the us '

"What… what is going on?!" Veronica's voice broke through the silence, though her face was as red as a blazing sunset. Her usually composed demeanor was nowhere to be found.

That's when those who knew Shinji from before began to connect the dots, their disbelief growing with every passing second.

"I-Is he my neighbor?! The same guy who never leaves his room?!" One servent of a student exclaimed, his voice a mix of shock and confusion.

"No way! That… that shut-in?! How?!"

"Shut-in or not, he's gorgeous…"

"Wait, isn't he Princess Veronica's servant?"

"I—I'd wish I had him as my servant," muttered another student, her voice trembling with a mix of awe and embarrassment.

Lydia's eyes sparkled with admiration. " brother? He transform!!"

Meanwhile, Guinevere standing beside her, blinked in shock. "He is gorgious though!"

Shinji, oblivious to the commotion behind him, swung his blade downward. The frozen wave shattered into countless shards, each as sharp as a spear. The ice rained down in a deadly storm, scattering the remaining sharks and flying towards Bane's ship.

---------------------------------

On the other hand, one of the two figures observing the scene turned to the other and asked, "Teacher, is he one of your students?"

The older figure hesitated, visibly unsettled. "N-no… he isn't."

The first figure's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "Then he must be a self-taught genius. After all, there's no known wielder of ice power on this scale across the world except for you and the few under the Northern Vale who could teach such immense abilities."

The older figure sighed deeply. "Esdeath, he isn't an ice attribute user. I believe he's more like you."

"Like me?" Esdeath asked, tilting her head in curiosity.

"Yes," the teacher replied, his tone grave. "Just like your Demon Extract. He's using that sword as a source of power... but unlike you, his bond with it isn't natural or sustainable. If he continues for more than four or five seconds, he'll likely freeze to death."

A glimmer of excitement sparked in Esdeath's eyes. "Oh, that sword—can I take it, Teacher?"

The older figure shot her a sharp glance. "...N-no. Let's focus on stopping them for now."

As her gaze shifted back to Shinji, her expression softened unexpectedly. A rare tenderness flickered in her eyes as she murmured, 'finally.'
