What is the Hell?

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Voices in the dark

When Mike stopped screaming and took a deep breath, time seemed to freeze. Everything around him slowed down, and the sounds grew faint. The explosion that had been echoing in his ears vanished, replaced by a deep silence. In that moment, a voice from the darkest corners of his past echoed through his mind. It was so close, so powerful that he completely forgot about the world around him.

"You can do it... Everything is in your hands... Because of you... Everything..."

Mike's heart raced with fear and guilt. The voice was so strong that it seemed to surround the entire room. "Wars started because of you. They haven't forgotten the pain you caused your father. Everything is your fault…"

Mike shook his head and whispered, "No..." But the voice continued to dominate his mind.

"You say no? Everyone knows it's your fault, Mike. The pain you caused your father... He's dead, and you did nothing. The wars... so much pain... everything started because of you. Jack died because of you."

Mike's heart suddenly raced even faster. "Jack?" he whispered, horror appearing in his eyes. "Jack... No, he... he can't be dead..."

Another voice echoed in his mind, a deeper, darker voice. "Yes, he's dead. He left you too. What could he have done to help? He's gone. Just like your father…"

Mike started seeing a shadow in his mind. A silhouette slowly formed before him, growing clearer with every passing second. This was the dark soul, the owner of the voice.

As the dark voice materialized into a figure, Mike squeezed his eyes shut, trying to erase the image. But it was impossible to silence the voice or banish the figure. "No... This can't be..." he screamed. "Jack... Jack, you... No!"

But the figure drew closer, each step pulling Mike deeper into the darkness. The fear inside him grew with every second. When the figure fully appeared, it was a cold, dark entity... a spirit. It looked at Mike in a terrifying way.

"There's no escape, Mike..." the voice said, as if it knew everything. "No escape. This is your responsibility. It's all your fault…"

Mike sank into the silence. Each word, each whisper, cut into his soul. He was internalizing Jack's death, his father's death, every loss. With every passing moment, he was being pulled deeper into the darkness.

And the figure finally stood right in front of him. The darkness, the cold presence... It was as if it was a shadow that covered the entire world.

Mike couldn't speak. The dark figure was now everywhere, as if it belonged to him alone. Fear, pain, regret... everything enveloped him in an instant, like an intoxicating wave.

The voices in his mind kept going. "He left you, Mike. Did you ever stop to think what you could have done? Stop the wars? Do you think a man like you can do anything?"

The dark presence took another step. Like a ghost, it stood directly in front of Mike, staring into his eyes. "You have no place to run anymore," it said.

Mike lifted his head, opened his eyes, and faced the darkness. That dark presence said only one thing: "The wars, the losses... all of this is because of you."

The dark soul say this: "Wake up to reality! Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world."

At that moment, Mike froze. He didn't know what to do as the dark entity's gaze bore down on him. The voices in his mind kept replaying the moment when time had stopped, and everything felt like it was beginning again. He was being dragged toward a dark end... and everything was right in front of him.
