Wanda Maximoff Multiversal Harem Hunter

Chapter 21: Liberation Of The Residential District Pt. 2

Here's the revised version of Chapter 21, rephrasing Fracture to reflect her female identity while keeping the same energy and narrative flow:

The resistance fighters moved quickly, guiding the rescued children through the broken gates of the holding facility. Eska Vryn led the way, her looted battle armor glinting in the dim light. Despite the chaos around them, her voice was calm and steady as she directed the fighters and reassured the frightened children.

Behind her, Wanda Maximoff stood at the gates, crimson energy swirling around her. Her symbiote suit pulsed with power, and the Chitauri Scepter in her hand glowed faintly. She scanned the street ahead, her sharp eyes catching movement in the shadows.

Eska glanced over her shoulder. "Maximoff, we've got movement. Hydra's regrouping. Can you hold them off?"

Wanda tilted her head, her smirk laced with sarcasm. "Sure. The same as usual. Nothing new."

Eska snorted. "Try not to have too much fun."

"No promises," Wanda replied, stepping forward. She spun the scepter in her hand, the golden tip sparking as it connected with her magic. The low hum of its energy merged with the rhythmic pulse of her suit. "Get those kids out of here. I'll handle this."

Eska nodded, her gaze lingering for a moment. "Stay alive, Maximoff."

"Always do," Wanda called back as Eska and the fighters disappeared into the alleyways.

The street was eerily quiet for a moment, the faint rustle of debris the only sound. Then, the roar of engines shattered the silence. Hydra reinforcements surged into view, their armored vehicles grinding over the broken pavement. Soldiers poured out in waves, their weapons raised.

"Ah, the welcoming committee," Wanda said, her voice dripping with mock enthusiasm. She raised the scepter, its glow intensifying as chaos magic crackled around it. "Let's make this quick."

"They're bringing toys," Fracture purred in her mind, her voice low and hungry. "I love toys."

"Good for you," Wanda muttered, her eyes narrowing as the first wave of soldiers opened fire. She raised a shimmering crimson barrier, the bullets ricocheting harmlessly off its surface. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the barrier forward, slamming into the advancing troops like a tidal wave.

The symbiote surged with anticipation, tendrils writhing as she prepared to strike. "Let me have them, Wanda. You know you want to."

Wanda sighed, dodging a blast from a mounted turret. "You're worse than a toddler. Fine—go play."

Fracture responded with a delighted growl, her tendrils lashing out to snatch a soldier off his feet. The man screamed as the symbiote's maw opened, devouring him in one swift motion. Wanda winced.

"Really?" she said, raising an eyebrow. "You couldn't just toss him?"

**"Waste not, want not,"** Fracture replied smugly. **"I'm just doing my part."**

"Congratulations," Wanda said dryly. "You're officially a garbage disposal with a superiority complex."

Fracture chuckled, but her amusement didn't slow her assault. Tendrils shot out in every direction, ripping weapons from soldiers' hands and flinging them into walls. Wanda moved with lethal precision, her chaos magic amplifying every strike. She spun the scepter in a fluid motion, sending arcs of golden energy crashing into Hydra's vehicles.

One of the armored trucks skidded to a halt, its turret swiveling to target Wanda. She dashed forward, her symbiote suit enhancing her speed. Leaping onto the hood, she drove the scepter into the turret, releasing a surge of energy that detonated the vehicle in a fiery explosion.

**"Still having fun?"** Fracture teased.

"Oh, absolutely," Wanda replied, jumping clear of the wreckage. "Next time, remind me to bring popcorn."

The reinforcements kept coming, their sheer numbers forcing Wanda to dig deeper into her powers. She raised her hands, chaos magic coiling like a living force as it erupted outward, tearing through the advancing troops. A squad of soldiers tried to flank her, but Fracture's tendrils intercepted them, dragging two into the air before slamming them into the ground.

**"Watch your six,"** Fracture warned, her voice sharper now.

Wanda spun just as a drone swooped down, its guns blazing. She deflected the barrage with the scepter, then hurled a concentrated blast of energy that sent the drone spiraling into a nearby building.

"Thanks for the heads-up," Wanda said. "See? We make a great team."

**"Finally, some appreciation,"** Fracture said, her tone smug. **"Now, let's finish this."**

A deep rumble shook the ground as Hydra deployed its final wave. A massive, tank-like vehicle rolled into view, bristling with weaponry. Wanda tilted her head, studying it with a mix of curiosity and disdain.

"Well, that's new," she muttered.

**"It's ugly,"** Fracture said. **"Let's break it."**

"Couldn't agree more," Wanda replied, raising the scepter. She unleashed a beam of chaos energy, but the tank's shields absorbed the attack. Narrowing her eyes, she shifted tactics, summoning a series of crimson projectiles that rained down on the vehicle, forcing its crew to react.

The tank's cannon swiveled toward her, its barrel glowing as it prepared to fire. Wanda leapt into the air, her symbiote-enhanced agility carrying her onto the tank's roof. She drove the scepter into the shield generator, chaos magic and golden energy merging in a brilliant explosion that disabled the shields.

"Boom," Wanda said, a satisfied smirk on her lips.

The tank's crew scrambled out, only to be met by Fracture's tendrils. The symbiote made quick work of them, her maw snapping shut with a triumphant growl.

"Really?" Wanda said, crossing her arms. "Do you have to be so dramatic?"

**"You're one to talk,"** Fracture retorted.

As the last of the reinforcements fell, Wanda stood amidst the wreckage, her suit shimmering with residual energy. The street was eerily quiet once more, the only sound the crackle of flames from destroyed vehicles.

Eska's voice crackled over the commlink. "Maximoff, status?"

"Clear," Wanda replied, her tone light despite the exhaustion creeping in. "The usual—explosions, chaos, some light property damage."

Eska snorted. "Kids are safe. We're regrouping at the extraction point. You good?"

Wanda glanced around, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "Better than good."

As she turned to rejoin the resistance, Fracture's voice echoed softly in her mind. **"You were born for this, Wanda. But Sokovia is just the beginning."**

Wanda's expression darkened slightly, but she shook her head. "Not now, Fracture."

**"Soon,"** the symbiote replied, her tone almost reverent.

Wanda's smile returned, sharper this time. "We'll see."
